Don’t buy the mount that’s double the price of this one but this one from these folks it’s the same quality as an expensive one. It’s way stronger than a regular antenna mount I would feel confident smacking thru tree limbs with it. I trail ride a lot and always have to deal with overgrowth and I wouldn’t worry about this bending or getting ripped off ... show more

There's not many brackets out there for the TJ so this is your best option for not spending a lot. It works but with help, you will need to drill a hole in your jeep for the 3rd hole in the bracket otherwise it will be flimsy. Also for a perfect fit I had to drill the tailight threads out on the jeep & replace with longer bolts & install with a nut & lock washer through the body. Works great after the mods ... show more

    • Fit my TJ with no problem. Need to remove some paint.
Liked that the bolt holes lined up on my 2000 Jeep TJ. I had to grind off some of the black paint so that it would ground to the Jeep body since I used it to mount an NMO ham radio dual band antenna. I used a wire wheel and ground off paint where the antenna mounted and around the three bolt holes facing the Jeep. Also removed some paint off the Jeep at those bolt holes. ... show more

    • Not really as advertised
The problem really is that the model years listed here is not really correct. I have a Jeep that is definitely in this range, but I had to modify the bracket to get it to fit.

    • Doesn’t fit properly
Installed it and theres really no room for adding your coax cable without having to buy a 90 degree adapter and even that doesn’t fit all the way lined up. I had to “rig” it to make it work
