Purchased to add security and ruggedness to my 2021 Jeep Wrangler JLU Willys. Item arrived earlier than expected. Packaged very well. Directions are easy to understand and basic. I took time to layout and label all parts before starting to put them together and install. I put them together while at my Jeep, but can do in the house prior to installing. Install is easy and quick once doors are together. Not too heavy but seem to be quality built. I will probably coat in Rustoleum to prevent rusting later. Love the rugged look they add to my Jeep and more security when my small dog or passengers. Great price! People were selling similar on online platforms for about $100 more used.     • Easy installation, looks nice
I have a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, and I got these doors as well as the mirrors you can buy separately. The mirrors make them legal in Oregon. The hardest part of the installation is matching the right hinges to the right places on the doors. Look very carefully at the instructions. Also, use WD-40 if you have trouble removing your full doors. And place the tube doors, latched, on your car before tightening all the screws. Once they were assembled and installed, which took about an hour, one door rattled on the road. I went to Home Depot and bought some weatherstripping, and put it on the spot making the noise. Problem solved! I am very happy with these doors. They are too low for a kid in a car seat in the back, but without a car seat, the kid seems safe enough and says it’s fun, though windy. ... show more

These doors are amazing! I ordered 2 sets. We put a set on the Gladiator, easy to do once you make sure you have the right hinges on the first door. There are straps that the instructions just say to make sure to tie them, doesn't say whether the short one vs long ones are for front or back. Figured out the hard way, short are for front and long for back. Instructions are hard to follow but once you have first door done, the rest are easy. Will be putting the 2nd set on a Wrangler next weekend. ... show more

    • Just what I needed
I selected these trail doors because I liked the look and they were much cheaper than most I had seen. They are great for when you want the Jeep stripped down, but don’t want to feel completely exposed. They arrived quickly and I would have rated these 5-stars if it weren’t for the terrible instructions and not coming with enough washers. I spent twice as long as it should have putting these together, plus I had to make a trip to the hardware store. Once they are put together, they go on and off the Jeep very easily. Install was quick and easy, does take some time to adjist the latches and hinges to reduce rattling. But once they were on it just changed my jeep! I always recieve compliments on these doors, decided to color match them to my jeep and i couldn't be happier with the freedom they provide!

    • Inexpensive, stylish and secure - mirrors are amazing!
First blush putting the two front doors on. This product is great! Door latches securely. Can’t get mirrors pointed quite far out enough but it uses a rubber vibration dampener that’s almost as good as OEM door mirrors. Very usable!

Very nice half-doors, especially for the price. I am very happy with them. Some hardware was loose in the box. Only one of the eight hinges was attached with one of the two bolts, the rest were not well packaged. The assembly instructions are very bad. I'm glad that I watched a YouTube by JK Gears and Gadgets before I bought them. The parts are identified in a table, but the written instructions use different letters that do not appear in the table. Even the tool size is wrong, it says you need a 14mm wrench and the bolts are not 14 mm. (LOL) I needed a rubber mallet to get the doors onto the hinges all the way. They just needed a little encouragement. The pictures in the instructions would have been a big help, but they are too dark to see any details. There are some easy fine-tuning adjustments to get the door to latch perfectly without rattling. Those adjustments do not appear in the instructions. If you are handy, you won't have too much problem, but watch the YouTube and you won't need the instructions. ... show more

    • Not for newer jeeps with door pins
It's time to give an honest review for these doors. They're pretty cheap and thin. One of my doors has rust on it that's been painted over. All the hardware is garbage throw it away. Also for the refresh in the Jeep which was 2026, there's a hinge pin built into the door that keeps the OEM doors on, rather than bolts in the hinges . These tube doors do not account for that at all. I don't advise removing that OEM door piece from jeep body either. So these are absolutely not compatible with new Jeep wranglers. In fact anyone that says "fits 2018-2026" is completely wrong. We need to get this fixed and get some doors that work with the 2026 system. ... show more
