My hair is very mixed color (all natural) with whites and gunmetal ash. The Ligh Ash Gray blends absolutely perfectly, and the texture doesn't look fake. My natural hair is shoulder length, and you can see the very tip of my pony at the top for color ref. Wish they'd match the clip to each color, ie, a gray clip for gray hairpiece. The clip is really strong. Took me some time to adjust "bones" for a natural fall look. Glad I purchased anyway, while I wait for my hair to grow longer. Happy, happy!

Nice choices and variety except the ponytail hair piece doesn’t sit correctly on top of the head. The hair is too straight and simply hangs there. Maybe just a few curls are needed. I didn’t like the variety and the color is not right. I would not buy.

I got the blonde with white tips. At first I had a hard time getting the clip to stay and it felt heavy , but once I worked with it and pushed it higher to the crown I love it now! The color is very similar to my own hair, I believe. The bendable pieces are really neat and I can push them where i want. Not a cheap product. Although I wish the clip was a bit longer.

My hair is very short and pretty damaged from coloring, heat products etc. When I was getting ready to purchase this I took a picture of the back of my hair and held it up to the product pictures and chose the closest color match to mine. (Recommended on product page) The claw clip itself is very strong so if you have a very sensitive scalp this may not work for you. My hair is fairly fine and I’ve lost quite a bit over the last few years,but I have a lot of it. It fits inside the clip if I divide my hair in half horizontally and make two ponytails; one midline, one right below that. And with the ‘tail’ that’s left hanging from the rubber band, I just sweep it up in the claw clip as I’m putting it on and it works so perfectly. It’s made very well, sturdy, very realistic, in my opinion. It’s got these 3 great hair-covered bendy things (I don’t really have the right description but these bendy things are what really makes this piece work!) that allows you to style it exactly how you want. I’ve received compliment after compliment and when I came clean to a friend that it was a fake piece, she had to literally come up close and look at it for herself- she could NOT believe it wasn’t real! It’s helping me save time getting ready in the morning, and saving my hair from a lot of heat styling damage! I realize others may have a different experience according to their type/ length of hair, hair that can’t be matched to the color choices, or just not be willing to take a few minutes to play around with it and figure out something that works for their hair, but if you have an iota of creativity (and I have zero!) there’s a good chance you’ll find that you feel confident about how realistic it looks wearing it, how securely it holds on, and how easy it is to just pop it on and go, like I have. I absolutely love this $17 purchase!
