This was easy to assemble and it looks fantastic. Each part is clearly labeled and the instruction manual is comprehensible to eliminate the guesswork. The removable partitions allows you to store boots or high heels. Each partition can hold the weight of 11 lbs. It's light weight and easy to move if you need to change location. It will fit large shoes easily. I wear size 12. I was able to put it in my water heater closet being 11"D and 11"W it slid right into the space between the heater and the wall. This is not the easiest to assemble, but all parts fit well. This is not as easy or precise as Ikea, but it's not the worst. A low torque power screwdriver will definitely help the process...a lot. I don't mean those 20v or even 12v drills, just a 4v drill would be perfect. String enough to drive all these screws and bolts, but not strong enough to strip the inherently weak particle board. And if a power drill is used, then you'll need a 5/16 bit, which most of the furniture bought online or off can be assembled with. I bought mine from eBay and had to get 12 at one time, but it was cheap like$5 for all 12. The instructions were ready to read and the assembly went on without a hitch. It still took me just shy of an hour, at a leisurely pace with the power tool. Now in terms of quality, I'd say for the price, it's very good. I initially was planning to make a stand or shelf, but decided against putting in all that work and spending more than 30 in materials. Sure, there's no comparison to a stand made with even pine or poplar, out even plywood, all of them would've been much stronger than this particle board, assembled furniture, but I'd have to put a few hours of work in this hot weather to prep the material in the hot garage. This looks nice, and it’s pretty sturdy. But….some of the shelves didn’t line up, so I had to drill my own holes. And the distance between the shelves is not the same, nor are they adjustable. I made it work, and it looks fine, but it’s definitely not worth the price given the bad quality control.

Sturdy with lots of small parts to put together. The person who left a 1 star review assembled it incorrectly (I did the same thing the first time). The 3 vertical side pieces that hold up the shelves are each made of 3 pieces that are attached to each other to make one long piece (x3). If you don't attach each of them in the same orientation, you'll wind up with misaligned holes for the shelves. Best thing to do is when you have the 3 long side pieces assembled is to lie them down next to each other and make sure all the predrilled holes align. The product is not solid wood but a good quality veneer over some kind of particle board. Good value for the price and I'll be picking up another. ... show more

Pay very close attention to the dimensions on this shoe rack. It is much smaller than it appears in the online photos. If you hung an adult size jacket on the side hooks the jacket would drag the floor. It isn't wide enough to fit adult size sneakers side by side. It is definitely too small to accomodate high top shoes/booties. Most womens shoes would fit properly. It would work great for childrens shoes. It is not a high quality item. Not worth the price listed in my opinion. It is fairly easy to assemble but be very careful that you have the holes for all parts lined up properly. If you get one piece upside down you will have crooked shelves. It does 'look' nice as opposed to a plain metal shoe rack. ... show more
