My only issue is that I wish the shelves were more sturdy, so they could hold a bit more weight without bowing down. I feel a center support bar would go a long way to helping the shelves be more sturdy.

This is a very easy to assemble product. I had my 9yr old do it. It's sturdy and the shelves being able to be flat or tilt is a nice feature. So far I just have them flat. Currently using it to extend my desk.

I needed more storage in my living room and wanted something to blend with my new gray flooring and gray walls and this console was exactly what I wanted. Assembly was easy because I totally ignored the directions as I was working alone and have a bad back. I took all the parts out of the box and placed the table top upside down on my dining table. I then attached the 2 straight bars to the long sides of the top, then I loosely attached the side support legs to the ends of the straight bars (make sure you have the side supports facing correctly so the drill holes for the mesh shelves mirror each other). I then attached one end of one mesh shelf to one side support leg with the backsplash edge of the shelf positioned down on the side where 2 holes are drilled. Hereโ€™s where itโ€™s tricky: you only need one screw but you have to choose which of the holes to use as you have a choice to have the shelf lay flat or tipped back when right side up. I preferred flat so I used the bottom hole as you are looking at it when upside down for assembly. Once both mesh shelves were in place, I tightened all screws using the Allen key included. When you tighten the screws you will hear a loud bang each time but it is just the screw thread going past the metal edge of the drill hole, keep tightening until secure. I hope this helps as some reviews complained about the directions which arenโ€™t clear if youโ€™re not used to assembling anything. I had it together in 20 minutes and it looks great! ... show more

This table is beautiful and easy to put together, but why is there always one part that will not cooperate. I'm tired of every item I order that is self-assembly where there is one part that just will not do what it is supposed to do. The feet are already in the leg so all that needs to be done is screw in the floor protectors to the feet. Three of four screwed in just fine. I am unable to get the protector in the foot. Now what? I tried swapping them around to see if others would work, but no, none would fit in the fourth foot. Now I have a wobbly table and frustrated. ... show more

So I initially purchased this for my bedroom....but desperate times call for desperate measures. I was throwing my mom a 50th birthday party and had this genuis idea to take the bar to the people!!! YES i turned this beautiful, well crafted, easy to assemble table into a fully functional serving bar! As you can see the shelves were sturdy enough to hold very heavy glass margarita glasses and those glass pitchers arent light! This was definitely a center of attraction at our party. Not to mention, its the perfect blend of light and dark wood swirls to truly compliment any room and color pallet. IVE TRIED. Whether youre decorating with soft hues of blues, greens OR hard black and dominant grays.. Im confident this table will be a beautiful addition. There was even stagnant water there FOR A LITTLE WHILE as the ice melted in the pitcher and the top didnt warp. By a little while i mean a few hours. I wouldnt suggest sitting wet items directly on it for prolonged period s like plants or anything without them having a water catcher. Im definitley considering ordering another for my balcony garden. Its the right length. Keep in mind its skinny. Not long and wide. Like 3-4 wide mason jars back to back skinny. Not to mention the assembly was so easy...my 10 year old put it together plus the complimenting side tables with verbal direction. You dont need any tools...they put the black L shaped thing in there that fits the screws. They even threw in a few extra screws incase you lost one or two by chance. I hope this helps. ... show more
