Reid is a ruthless venture capitalist. Evie is his sunshine PA. Reid likes to torture her with a daily scavenger hunt of demeaning tasks. During one trip to a jeweler, she meets Lottie and they become instafriends. Evie agrees to be MOH for Lottie’s upcoming nuptials not knowing that her mean boss is the best man. As Reid and Evie get to know each outside the office, their attraction grows and the spice scenes kick in. I like that he tries to be a better man for her, but he dumb lucks into knowing what she likes several times. I also didn’t love that she was very much risking her career to sleep with him.
