While this isn't a terrible container, I was expecting more considering the description and the price. For starters, it's smaller than I expected. Even though it's metal, it feels really flimsy; despite the fact it has wheels and is made to roll, I wouldn't count on that being easy on carpet and/or if it's full. It was easy to put together though. The top is basically a dust cover. There is no way you can stack anything on this, not even something lightweight. This was very easy to put together. I got this to use to store stuffed animals and soft toys for my children's area at first but it has now become a laundry catch-all when someone leaves their laundry in the washer or dryer and holds up the laundry flow. The storage is out together in like 3-4 mins, and it is quite spacious, but it is different in real than in the pics. I can put all medium sized plush toys of my kids in this storage and hence it helps big time to keep my kids toys room organized. but it is not safe for kids to use it especially with younger ones. my toddler's hand always gets stuck while closing/opening it. It does come with the wheels however, once I fill them with toys (only soft toys though) it is difficult to move it especially on the carpet. ... show more

I have a similar rolling storage bin that fits under my bed and can hold shoes or extra sheets. This metal storage bin is larger than that one, but not as large as I expected -- maybe the size of a large picnic cooler. I ordered it to use in a walk-in closet to store seasonal clothing. It is easy to assemble -- no tools needed -- and fits well in the space I have. One downside is that the metal lid is fairly thin, so I would not advise putting heavier boxes or bins on top of it. For me that is a limiting feature although I could remove the wheels and place this bin on top of other, heavier ones. Another good feature is that you can see what's inside through the metal sides. That's an advantage over opaque storage boxes and bins. The Amazon product page identifies it as a toy chest and it could work well in a child's room for their toy, stuffed animals and such. But it can also store clothing, extra sheets and blankets, or just about anything you don't want lying on the floor to trip over. ... show more
