  • Sits far out. Image shows face as if you are further away
Color: Alpine White
Edit : Upping to 5 stars after using it a while in my shower. Suction - Fell off once after initial install. Initial install included cleaning thoroughly where it suctioned. After initially falling off after a couple of weeks inside my shower with daily use, it has never fallen again after several months additional use. Fog Free - Being located inside my shower makes it nearly impossible to keep fog free for a non-self heating mirror. To my surprise, the first few showers their coating held up, but afterwards it was back where all the others ended up. Valiant effort none the less. None of my others ever held up once. Easy to remedy though for the initiated. Simply splash hot water over the mirror a few times. No soap. It'll clear long enough to shave. Splash additional if fogging back up too quickly. Distance from wall - Turns out not an issue where I have it placed. Corner back wall away from the shower head. Normally I place them on the side of the wall or on/near the shower head. That's a mistake. Move it further away. Easier to use and keep clean. Avoid trying to get soap on it and the coating seems to keep a mirror finish when it dries. Zoom Effect - Got used to not being as zoomed in as other mirrors. Not an issue overall. Possible Issue - if dropped onto a hard surface like tile, it might crack or break. It seems like hard plastic of that type. **************** Knocked off a star for how far it sits away from the wall. Could have been much nicer to not have it stick out almost 4 inches. Also took off the star due to the mirror showing the image as if I were further away. Not sure what that's about. Most shaving mirrors are designed to enlarge the image. The good news is it was easy to install. No issues so far with suction and the locking mechanism. Will try it for a while and update good or bad overall. ... show more

  • Pretty good, probably as close as you'll get to what you wish existed.
Color: Alpine White
It's pretty good. I'm happy with it. Let's be real here though - unless you go high end, there is no truly "fogless" shower mirror. This stays fog-free during the duration of my shower, and only fogs up if I take too long of a shower, or really mess with the hot/cold science of the air in there. I clean it with water and a shop towel, maybe a little drop of plain soap. Let's be real again - you're buying a suction cup mounted mirror because that's the best option for your shower setup. I don't expect suction to last a long time, even the phone mount on my car windshield falls down when temps change dramatically. If you mount this in your shower properly - clean the tile, dry it, make sure the spot is non-porous and smooth, make sure the suction cup is clean and wet - it should stay up for a week for sure, and I've seen two weeks max. You should be cleaning your shower regularly anyway, removing the mirror and re-mounting it at that time. So don't be a dummy and complain it doesn't stay up. Mine falls if I skip my chores for a week or two and get lazy, also. It also falls if I leave the fan on or heat lamp, the moisture evaporates. Durability. This might be different for everyone depending on what your shower is made of and how it's designed, where you mount it and the shape of the tub below wherever you mount it. But mine has fallen three times during ownership and no cracks, no shattered mirror, no problems, just a brief jump scare and a sigh that I forgot to clean the shower walls and remount it. My advice here is just do your chores, remount it on occasion, and don't mount it above anything that it could land on. I suspect the more it falls, the weaker the structural integrity becomes, thus prone to actually cracking someday down the line. ... show more

  • works great!
Color: Alpine White
This mirror is great. I have not had any issues with it falling at all. I also haven't had any fog issues either. It is very easy to install and use. I had it installed in 30 seconds.

  • Suction Fails After a Few Months
Color: Alpine White
When I first received this product I was impressed with the mounting system. The suction cup has a mechanism that makes it easy to obtain maximum suction. And, true to the advertising, the mirror did not fog up in the shower. I was very pleased. But now, after I've owned the product for a few months and the refund window is closed, I am not nearly so happy with this product. First off, the antifog feature was temporary. I have no idea what happened, maybe it was repeated exposure to a warm, humid atmosphere. But what else would expect from being inside a shower? In any case, it routinely fogs up a in fewer than five minutes into the shower. But if that were all - OK, it's not a big deal and a little shampoo or liquid soap eliminates the fogging. The more serious concern, and the reason I rated the product as 1 star is that the suction system now fails to hold the mirror on the shower wall. It took a while before it fell off the first time. But once it failed the first time it now routinely fails. Sometimes it only takes a few minutes after mounting. More often it takes a day or two. And rarely, it holds for maybe as long as a week. But it fails with annoying regularity. The product arrived with a small adhesive mounted smooth surfaced disk to alleviate problems with textured surfaces. I held onto the disk for a while, but after about a month I discarded as it appeared I would not need it. After the mirror fell of the shower wall several times I wrote to the vendor requesting a replacement disk, thinking it might provide a remedy. Well, I'll never know if it might help because the vendor responded to my request by doing nothing. He/she did not send a replacement disk. He/she did not offer a refund. He/she did not even send an apology. Crickets - there was no acknowledgment of my request whatsoever. If you ask me, don't buy this product or any product for that matter from this vendor. The product flunks and the customer support is abysmal. ... show more
