  • Perfect solution for bread makers
This is absolutely great! I use a Zojorushi one-pound breadmaker almost daily and this rack is a real blessing. Measuring spoons and cups hang on the back grill, sour dough starts fit comfortably on the upper shelf, and all my bulk ingredients set on the middle shelf. The lower shelf holds a plastic bin, where I store bulk items still in bags. The working surface holds the breadmaker and is perfectly adequate for transferring ingredients to the pan. A chrome rack (taken from a disused toaster over) serves as a cooling rack and fits nicely on the work surface. With everything arranged, as above, I can prep a breadmaker loaf in under five minutes. This rack was a snap to assemble, it's sturdy and attractive. Simple design makes cleanup a breeze. For assembly, you will need a medium Philips screwdriver to attach brackets to the underside of the wooden work surface. Holes are predrilled, so this is not an issue. ... show more

  • Great Addition to Our Kitchen!
Or more specifically, dining area! I recently moved into a new place with roommates and while our kitchen cabinets seemed quite ample at first, it was quickly realized that with divvying them up amongst us, they weren't quite so. Add to that doling out counter space too for personal gadgets....well, I knew I needed a solution as I have the most gadgets of all! So I ordered this, mostly based on it being the most affordable bakers rack when I was hunting here on Amazon. Almost 3 months later, and I'm still impressed. My boyfriend put it together pretty easily, took about 30-40 minutes. We were quite impressed with how sturdy the end product was! What I Keep On It: *Topmost wire shelf holds boxes of tea and KCups *Wooden board has an electric kettle, rice cooker and a Keurig Mini Plus *Middle shelf holds extra Tervis tumblers, a case of water (always), canister of dry cat food and cat food cans. *Bottom shelf has cookie sheets, cutting boards, skillet and an air popper. So we keep quite an array of things on it and use it daily (Keurig and hot pot) and have no noticed no stability issues. I would feel comfortable using the wooden shelf as a prep area, but wouldn't cut directly on the wooden slab, but would use a cutting board. All in all, a GREAT purchase! Great price, free shipping from Amazon (Prime) for such a bulky item and it's useful! ... show more

  • UPDATE
***UPDATE*** After writing the initial review, the company contacted me via email within 48hrs and offered to replace the part for free. Great customer service and I LOVE the finished product. We tested the 200b limit with my 200b husband -- no wobbling, no unsteadiness. Holds all my kitchen appliances (kitchenaid, popcorn maker, ice cream maker, waffle maker, juicer, etc), and our 5 gal fishtanks and produce/nick-nacks. Looks beautiful in my home and I get so many compliments on it. Overall - the customer service will bring me back to buying from this company again! One of the poles needed to build the back leg/stand came without the screw threading. This made the whole unit obsolete. :( Was REALLY looking forward to this as the rest was rather easy to put together and sturdy. Please send another set of back poles..... ... show more

  • Great Shelf Space, Easy Assembly?
This rack is reasonably priced and adds a good amount of shelf space to your small kitchen. It does come with a couple of hooks to hang some pots or utensils. However, I'm not happy with the design of it. It was incredibly difficult for me to put together. It took me forever to understand how the pieces "fit" together. They don't click or screw in. It uses this weird system using a tight rubber spacer to hold the pieces together. It took me about 3 hours to put it together. And it isn't very stable. I can't really get the feet all level so it wobbles a good bit. The whole rack is a little unstable. I chalk this up to how it was designed. They should learn from Ikea on how to make furniture that puts together well. But with that being said, it still adds an invaluable amount of space to my small kitchen. It's good for the price. ... show more

  • LOVED THIS SO MUCH, I BOUGHT A 2ND!
This rack is fantastic! It's not only a beautiful piece worthy of the finest kitchen, it's also the most useful. It holds so many appliances: Microwave, Keurig coffee pot, Crock pot, Pressure cooker, Blender, and Veggie steamer. I also use the supplied hooks (6) to hang my "heavy" grill pan, mesh strainers, veggie peeler, and 3 other tools I use often. I use the top shelf for displaying my cookbooks and holding pots growing fresh basil, parsley and other herbs. As I still had a number of additional small appliances hidden away in the back of cabinets (which I can't reach without a ladder and a 7' arm,) I found it so useful, I bought a 2nd! Best buy ever, and another 6 hooks for hanging more tools! Although many reviewers have said the rack's not sturdy, I totally disagree. When put together correctly, it's solid, stands perfectly level and doesn't wobble in the slightest. ... show more

  • I'm thankful I bought two...
...because I put the first one together incorrectly. I must say I was very disappointed and dissatisfied with the product after assembling the first one. Assembly was quick and easy, but it was the flimsiest and most unstable piece of furniture I ever owned. I put the second one together and quickly realized I had assembled the first one incorrectly. There are black, locking plastic caps/sleeves that at first glance appear to work either direction. They do NOT, and the instructions do not state otherwise either. If you are putting one together and it seems wrong, check the direction of the black plastic caps. Mine were all upside down. Both are now assembled correctly and I am beyond happy. They had exceeded my expectations and are very, very durable and stable. I realize they are bakers racks, but I wanted something like this for my greenhouse, so I have alot of weight and lights installed on them. Absolutely perfect. And now my wife wants a 3rd for the kitchen. i highly recommend this product to be used as a storage shelf in just about any application. Very, very versatile. ... show more
