  • I have a Solution to the Toilet seat Problem!!
Pattern Name: Shelving Unit
I've noticed a bunch of people (Clearly lacking in ingenuity/problem solving skills) complaining about the bottom shelf being too low and thus preventing the toilet seat from staying up. Well, all you have to do, is go online to Home Depot or Lowe's website, and get four 1 inch thick little blocks (only a buck .32 a piece for mine), and stick 1 under each leg, then 'Vwalla!' the lid/seat have clearance. Considering this unit is a Quarter of the price (per shelf) of comparable units, it's absolutely worth the extra few dollars for the blocks (if you have the seat issue). You're welcome! ;) ... show more

  • Great if you don’t want to close the toilet lid
Pattern Name: Shelving Unit
We have a standard toilet and this thing barely clears it. The toilet lid either has to stay up (heldby bottom shelf or it stays down. If it’s up, beware your items will fall in the toilet when you flush it :(

  • Measure with your toilet lid open before buying
Pattern Name: Shelving Unit
It was nice with the exception that it came up short for the first lower shelf. My toilet has a height of 35 inches with the lid open. This shelf is only 32 1/2 inches to the first lower shelf. I had to remove the shelf for it to fit. Not happy with that modification.

  • So Versatile I Bought 2!
Pattern Name: Shelving Unit
The most shelf for your money. More shelves than most (all?) others. Quite sturdy. Easy assembly. Mine do double duty. Sorry if my photos do not do it justice. (Left half of photo) First, I put one on 5" risers to completely avoid toilet tank (tank lid is still removeable by a few inches without risers). My 8 1/4" wall-hugging narrow tank required me to remove the 11" bottom shelf, so I put the bottom brace in it's place (my risers prevent proper bottom bracing). Even on freestanding risers and without proper bottom bracing, this shelf DOES NOT WOBBLE AROUND!! I can add more weight to it, keeping in mind it is after all a light duty shelf. (Right half of photo) I quickly bought a second one for some extra shelving in my downtown micro-pad. It's natural height allows for proper room ventillation, and I was able to add my first one's fourth shelf to the bottom of it. I probably can even add a few more pounds to this 5-shelf version with it's better stability. ... show more

  • Good Value for Price, but with some caveats
Pattern Name: Shelving Unit
BEFORE YOU BUY--MEASURE! (1) The crossbar at the bottom is 7-1/8" above the floor, and has a diameter of 1/2" above that, so be sure your water supply line will clear that. (2) The lowest shelf is 32-1/2" above the floor; measure the height of the toilet seat lid in open position to be sure it will clear the shelf. If it doesn't, you would need to remove that shelf to use the unit. (3) Measure from the top of the open toilet seat to the wall directly behind. If this distance is less than 14" you will probably not be able to sit up straight or lean back while using the toilet without bumping your head against the shelf. Again, you may elect to remove the shelf. BEFORE YOU ASSEMBLE--PLAN! (1) Sort the parts. They come in separate wrappers, but not labeled. Look carefully at the placement of the holes, where the ends are tapered and where they aren't, etc. to figure out which ones are which, otherwise you won't be able to put it together at all. (Note to manufacturer--would it kill you to label the parts?) (2) Follow the directions. Go slowly and do exactly what each picture shows. Don't race ahead because you think you know--you'll end up undoing, like I did. (3) Don't tighten the screws more than finger-tight until it's all put together. Your last step should be to go back over it and tighten the screws snug. This will make it easier to fit the parts together, and also make it less likely to pull crooked. The entire assembly took me about an hour, and I was taking my time. I really like it. It's sturdy enough to hold lots of towels and things, and doesn't sway much, fits well into my very small space. I will probably end up removing that bottom shelf, or else use it in another room with a small cabinet under it and install wall shelves over the toilet, but for now I'm happy with it. ... show more

  • Even better than expected!
Pattern Name: Shelving Unit
I read all the reviews, including questions about the measurements, especially if it would fit over the water inlet and if the toilet lid would open and close okay, and decided to purchase. I just put it together today, and am more than happy with this purchase! It fits PERFECTLY, at least in my bathroom. (NOTE: If you have concerns about fitting in your own bathroom, I would suggest reading the reviews regarding measurements.) I have a lot of bathroom stuff, and there is more than enough room for all of it. Even my Sterlite drawer units (see photo) with two of them fitting perfectly on each shelf! (Also available on Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002BA5F2A/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 at the best price I've found for these units). I decided to take someone's advice about stabilizing the unit so it wouldn't possibly tip forward, and ordered the Loghot 6 Sets Nylon Anti-Tip Furniture Anchor Straps (see 2nd photo) also from Amazon (see https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BT23S7W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ). And it's not visible behind a tissue box, or whatever. It is attractive and appears to be of very good quality; and the price is right. It is fairly light weight, but seems sturdy enough (especially with even just one anchor strap, which I screwed into a stud). The exact number of pieces of everything were included, and it's easy to assemble. ... show more
