To replace the bright white duvet, I wanted a toned down 100% cotton spring/summer floral print that would coordinate with my room color. The seller had many options of prints and colors colors, and this one best fit my criteria. I was pleased to find that there were a total of eight ties with this cover, one in each corner, and one midway on each side for holding the feather comforter in place.. The fabric is reasonably soft, but since it has not been laundered, I cannot address shrinkage or finish changes. Being cotton, it probably needs to be ironed as well. The quality of fabric seems average and not heavily sized, so I don’t expect that to be different after laundering. Before ordering, there was one detail I did not notice. These pillow covers do not have a zipper and do not fold over in the middle; instead, they have a fold over flap on one end. Because the fabric is directional in pattern, both pillow covers open on the right hand side of each pillow (see photos)—a result of fewer steps in manufacturing. Normally I would prefer the opening on the opposite sides of the pillows when the bed is made, but that is not possible. Besides, I am probably the only one that will ever notice this. Purchased this product which came with 2 pillow shames-product has a zipper closure that is high quality. Duvet cover is a little thin so you do need to use a white duvet insert or the insert will show threw. The cover is very soft but does get wrinkled. Did purchase a second one as the print and material even thou thin is made of higher quality linen and should hold up nicely-does also have several strings on the inside to secure your duvet insert which is an added bonus. ... show more

I saw this and started reading the reviews and took a chance, this feels so nice. It has 3 places on the inside of the duvet to attach at the top and 3 at the bottom to attach to an insert and it has a hidden zipper instead of buttons. It feels soft and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. I will definitely order a different color again at $51 just for fun!!! My guest room needed a little pick me up so I am happy. Very high quality duvet cover. I’m bored easily, so change out my duvet covers constantly. So I have order lots and lots of them, all ranging in price. I can definitely say, this cover is probably my favorite. It’s not thin and cheap like some of them I’ve ordered from different companies. The corner ties are in tact, and are perfectly sown. The colors are excellent and it looks great. Has a silky feel to it and not the thickest of materials. I was hoping for it to be soft rather than slick feeling. But its still nice and at least not hot or scratchy. Overall I like it.
