I've purchased these for much less than I did here, but when you need them, what are you going to do. I like the smaller 15 gallon for putting into the attic; the 27 gallon are bit much to 'manhandle' them into the attic through that ladder hatch.

The bins - if delivered without any cover damages - are excellent, perform well, and perfect size for most applications. I have used these boxes / containers for over 20 years! Would be great if they introduced a waterproof version! And if they made the support tabs of the cover a bit thicker to strengthen top in stacking. Lastly, when shipped that the shipper turns bins upside down and places tops in stack position to minimize cover damages. ... show more

These boxes are made in very durable plastic. The plastic is flexible but tough. It can resist weight and falls. The lids are more rigid and seal the box tight. Nothing will get in. The lids also have openings around the edges that can be used to insert locks on any of them. I really like this feature. In addition, the lids and bottom of the boxes are made in such a way that they are stackable. This helps save room. Conclusion, these boxes are sturdy and well made. I ordered the bins with the yellow lids. I was sent the ones with the grey lids. The storage bins themselves are fine but when you order A and are sent B, naturally you're a bit fed up. I've bought several of these with yellow lids in the past. I'm not going to return them because I no longer have the box in which they came.
