My friend put it together so I can’t comment on that part, except to say he found it to be reasonably easy to do, with precise measurements and correct instructions. Once assembled, I took over. I really like that the third shelf has an open design, as I use it next to my keyboard and appreciate being able to slip sheet music and music books into the side as I’m done with them. I ordered two of these book shelves to use for craft supplies. They were very easy to assemble. I like that the back boards are not just cardboard, but sturdier thin boards. The book shelves are sturdy and look really nice, and they work very well for what I intended.

I use this shelf in my massage room. I like the backing to help keep oil splashes from getting on the wall. The design is clean and the shelves hold everything I need close by. Well made, easy to put together. Lightweight, buy strong. May have to get some for my home!
