For the money this desk is a steal! The build quality blows others away at this price point where similar ones from Walmart or target have the particle board and flimsy fasteners. This one has threaded metal with a solid feel when everything is tightened up. It's the perfect height for most office chairs or gaming chairs. The L shape allows it to have more surface area but still be out of the way enough. Perfect for small apartments or homes where space is valuable.

The desk is pretty sturdy and does a good job at resisting shaking. The frame is made out of some kind of metal square tube, while the shelves and desk are made of solid plastic. I am not sure if it is apparent in the product pictures, but the desk has a slight matte finish - it's still pretty smooth, but not perfectly smooth like glass, so keep that in mind when ordering. The fabric bag on the side is pretty sturdy. The plastic pads they use as the desk's feet give just enough friction to keep the desk from sliding, except when you intentionally try to move it, in which case it goes along hard surfaces fairly well. Comes with everything you need to assemble the desk - while the instructions say to use a hammer to insert the feet into the metal frame, you could just grab a another metal bar and use that instead. The metal wires used to make the "x" features on the back came slightly bent, but they were flexible enough that I could straighten them with my bare hands. These aren't load bearing components anyway, so it really shouldn't be an issue either way. My kit was missing a bolt, but their customer service got back to me very quickly and sent an entire bag of replacement parts with expedited shipping.

The desk is made out of a nice wood, and fits together flush with itself once assembled. This desk is perfect for smaller spaces, and the shelves on the side help with even more storage. My only complaints are that the instructions can be difficult to read (almost certainly user error), and that the desk sits a little bit high for my liking. Other than that though, the desk is definitely worth the price, and I would recommend it if you're looking for a desk that is worth it's price. tl;dr - Sturdy, well-made desk that is certainly worth it's price.

Had an issue with a stripped hole in a shelf. Seller sent oversize screw laser fast, 5 stars for the seller. Desk is OK. not like I paid 500 bucks for a solid oak desk. Good value. It assembled straight, and no parts were missing.

Needed a small desk since I am going back to school for my laptop and textbooks. This was easy to assemble by myself and didn't take too much time. Relatively sturdy considering the amount of weight it is holding with all of my medical books. Plenty of leg room. Came well packaged with no scuffs, scrapes or damaged pieces. Only gripe I would say is the pouch that hangs off the side, which is decent sized and can hold quite a few items, some larger, is the anchoring. Rather than essentially a pushpin, it should be anchored with screws and a washer. I kept my Castle 120 colored pencils and small notebooks in the pouch. Every now and then I had to push the anchors back in to keep the pouch secured. Had it been screwed in, that wouldn't be an issue. I since have bought a narrow end table with drawers and charging station to house said Castle pencils, notebooks and a secondary laptop. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase. It is a good value for the pricepoint.

I almost didn’t purchase because of some of the reviews. The desk fits perfectly in my bedroom. The box was not damaged, was delivered a day early and all parts were in the package. The instructions are pictures which wasn’t bad (but pay attention to the lettering of each part and the screws used in each section). There are instructions for the “L” portion to be on the left or right (I choose the right, those instructions were after instructions for the left). Took about an hour to assemble. The screws and holes all matched up perfectly. It’s sturdy and durable. Not too big with plenty of leg room and storage. I think the manufacturer saw the bad reviews and improved all of those issues. I really like the desk. I also bought one for my daughter in white.
