I work from home and this versatile shelf is perfect for my home office. Everything I need (crochet projects) is right next to me. No more bins on the floor. It was pretty straight forward to put together was it easy? For me....yes. You have to make sure each shelf frame CLICKS into place. As you are putting it together just give all of the shelves a quick push to make sure they stay seated. Pretty sturdy but I am not putting heavy items on it, just a few skeins of yarn. The first time I bought this product was two years ago. I recently moved and was able to take apart the whole thing and easily put it back together again and easily pack with it being stored very flat after taken apart. I use it for clothes and order the storage boxes separately, they do not come with this product. This is just a shelf. Another thing that I would like to add is that it is very easily buildable if you would like to connect as many as you would like together. You can also customize it very easily if you wish to do so by moving around the walls. I would highly recommend this product for anybody looking for a shelving system they can easily move from place to place. Keep in mind that you cannot pick it up and move it anywhere without moving the heavy stuff that it stores inside as it will start disconnecting due to the weight. ... show more

This product is essentially the same as those thick, bulky wood cube shelves you commonly see. This in my opinion is SO much better though. I was looking for a toy organizer for my baby’s room and wanted to try doing “toy rotation”; in which you let them play with a small number of toys, then rotate to another set of toys. You can do it every day, week, or every so often. Most of the wood ones cost $50 minimum and I am not the most handy mom. Other different types of toy organizers were just obnoxiously expensive. This was cheap, and easy to put together. It is really stiff / hard plastic which I appreciate because it puts up with heavy wooden toys and books without any issue. It was a bit of a pain to put together because my hands started to hurt while smushing all the bits into place, so my husband and I took turns at it. I love that it comes with multiple bits and I have the option to customize it as 1 or two towers or have it horizontal. It is extremely light which is nice and it breaks apart into a flat stack for easy transport if you gotta move, which is great as well. ... show more

Took a bit to put it all together I kept forgetting the back parts or would have to move it and it could brake apart. I like that it had a few different options to set up. I found the images helpful with putting everything together after you get through the first few steps you repeat and it pretty direct. I think it helps a bit with clutter only thing unfortunate is when you want to move the cubby else where you have to remove everything off and take it apart.
