Update: I didn't give away.... I tried once again. Great product! It took me a bit but found getting one wet and then squeezed dry is the key to absorbing spills. I also cut them in half because my hand is small and it fits better. They are excellent at wiping down the water around sinks to finish the dishes. I WILL purchase again!!! These will also be a great gift!! Original Review: Not as needed for kitchen work/cleanup. Hard type foam that does not bend easily or conform to my hand when wet. This is my second order, first one being about 2 years ago. They wash up well and the old ones I am using for outside and especially dirty items as they are quite stained but still of use.

I love everything about these! I throw them in the washer with soap and bleach, let them air dry flat and stack them back in my cupboard to be used again and again. When then start showing wear or stains I move them to my cleaning caddy and finally out to the bin - I get months of use from each one

Good and inexpensive. I've had the first one of the set of 10 for about a month, and it's starting to crumble slightly, but still usable. I've been using it only for washing dishes. Feels a little rubbery, but absorbent. Wouldn't recommend it for rough surfaces.
