  • Bleachstain is proud to present the oldest patented carpet spot dye kit in the industry. The initial step in our color restoration process involves the submission of a photograph that captures the stain. This procedure enables us to confirm that the bleach stain has not been impacted by any previous dyeing treatments. It is essential to recognize that different stains may necessitate specific products for effective remediation. Our team is committed to providing you with the necessary guidance throughout this process.
  • How Can One Ensure the Correct Color Match? As the first company to introduce carpet spot dye kits for residential use, our patented techniques have made it possible for the professional and homeowner alike to have greater success worldwide. Our kits follow an exact science allowing the user to replace only the exact ratio of missing primary colors. No color charts or knowledge of color theory are needed. The closer a persons follows this exact science, then the closer and easier will be the color match. We have taken the quess work out. This allows for the professional and homeowner to have greater confidence knowing that the carpet mill dyes will work on all shades and colors.
  • Revolutionary Patented Solution for Color Restoration**: Understanding how to effectively restore carpet color is crucial, and the first rule to grasp is that all dyes will blend with the remaining color in a bleach stain. If you simply try to apply a dye that matches the original color, it will mix in and result in an inaccurate shade. This was a common issue with previous methods that used kits containing over 40 different colors. Many professionals believed their skills were lacking, when in fact it was the use of these kits to blame. It was for this very reason, that we began selling our patented system to the homeowner.
  • Proven Solution: Our innovative method combines a gelled bleach neutralizer with high-quality carpet dyes, resulting in a powerful synergy. Together, these products deliver a permanent repair that seamlessly matches the original carpet mill dye in both appearance and texture, ensuring it withstands cleaning without fading or coming out.
  • Experience the Superior Quality of American-Made Products: Our premium patented carpet gel dyes are manufactured locally and engineered for exceptional color matching, specifically designed to address bleach stains. When applied using a spray bottle, these dyes effectively remedy bleached areas at room temperature restoring the appearance of carpets with remarkable efficacy. We take great pride in producing each kit to the highest standards, converting acid dyes into a reliable liquid gel solution that matches the original carpet mill dye found in your carpeting. Should you encounter any difficulties related to dyeing errors or persistent stains, please do not hesitate to contact us.
  • **Understanding Color Loss and Restoration** Color loss in carpets can occur due to several factors, including pet stains, acne medications, chlorine spills, and other chemical marks. Fortunately, there are effective kits available that can restore the original colors of your carpet. This innovative restoration method works well on various carpet materials, such as polyester, nylon, and wool. By providing a photograph of the affected area, we can ensure a precise color match and recommend the right dye kits along with any additional products needed for successful restoration.
  • These dye kits are not suitable for permanent stains. We offer separate products for those issues.

Description

The Homeowners Spot Dye Kit includes comprehensive instructions, access to our helpline, three reactant dyes, a bleach neutralizer, and three 32-ounce spray bottles. Please note that you will need to provide a wet vacuum or any extraction machine to complete the process. This kit is compatible with all shades and colors of nylon carpeting. The submission of a photograph depicting the stain enables us to accurately identify the specific type of stain. We classify stains into three distinct categories: permanent stains, discolorations, and a combination of both. A permanent stain is characterized by the presence of added colors resulting from various coloring agents. Discoloration, on the other hand, features a loss of primary colors. The combination of a stain and discoloration includes both missing colors and the introduction of incorrect colors. We are prepared to offer guidance on the appropriate products to rectify any of these issues

  • Excellent Product
I have a beige carpet and spilled bleach on it. I purchased this product, followed the directions and AMAZINGLY it got the carpet back to it original color. I am so impressed. Before I bought this Bleach Stain kit, I had a carpet company come to dye it. They told me they could not do. It would look worse than it already was. Saved me $300.00 Thank you Bleach Stain, you have an amazing product and easy instructions. ... show more

  • Great product that really works!
This product does what it claims to do - saved my beautiful, high-end, pale sand colored carpet. My 'bleach stain' was from a Mr. Clean bath scrubber sponge that I didn't realize was still wet and has a bleach-like chemical in it. Usually I keep it in a bowl but for some reason didn't this time and dripped it on the carpet, leaving a foot-print sized, peach/orange stain. I was absolutely sick about it when I realized what I had done. I was really skeptical that anything would work to fix it, but after watching Jerry's video and reading other's reviews I knew that this was the only product to try before going the professional route. It is expensive, but I'm sure I would have paid much more having someone come out to the house to fix it. I was really thinking the only solution would be to have it cut out and replaced, so having this work as indicated was a great relief! Also, I ordered the product on a Tuesday night and it was at my house by Friday morning, even though the actual date promised in the shipping was a week later! This was a god-send as my in-laws were coming the next day and the stain was in the guest room in a really noticeable location. Even though I knew this was not exactly a quick fix and can be a time consuming process, I was able to get the stain to look about 75% better in about a couple of hours of spraying with the proper mixture of reactant and using a wet-vac between applications. I could still see there was work to be done but when I pointed it out to my mother in law she said she wouldn't have even noticed had I not said anything. After they left a few days later I went back and re-treated the spot and would say it is now perfect! Overall I would say do not despair - be patient and this will fix your bleach spot! Thanks again for a product that really works :) ... show more

  • IT DOESNT WORK!!!
i was very optimistic about this because the owner of the company said it will work on discolorations. Sad to say that it doesnt. I read the instructions several times, followed the instructions and even called the owner for assistance per instructions but it still didnt work. Obviously the owner, Jerry, said I didnt follow the instructions when I actually did. He uttered words " You believe you understand them when you dont" and called me "prideful! How could you say that to a customer who was talking to you nicely with respect? I learned from a company that does repairs that the discoloration on my carpet cannot be repaired. I should have listened instead of purchasing this product. I feel mislead and I cant even return it. Let this be a warning to those who will purchase this product. Its not easy to use. You follow instructions and ask their help over the phone, but if it doesnt work, the owner will put the blame on you 100% like he did to me and you cannot return it. ... show more

  • Works as Advertised, Takes Patience But Great Results
I had great luck with this product and I recommend it for bleach marks. But remember, this is for bleach discoloration, not typical stains. With a stain you have some other substance like wine or dirt that you need to remove. That's not this product. Bleach removes the dye from your carpet so you have to add color back. That's what this is for. Think of it like hair. If you bleach your hair no amount of shampoo will turn it back to the original color. You have to dye it back. Or let it grow out but if your carpet is growing you have some other problem entirely. It is really important that you follow the directions closely. First you make and apply a solution that neutralizes the bleach. Then you make very dilute dye solutions so you can slowly add back color until it matches the surrounding carpet. It's a time consuming process. This is by design as you don't want to over color the area. The instructions explain that you need something to remove the excess water as you spray on the dyes. A shop vac works well for this but remember to empty it before you start or you'll wind up with mud in the vac. And remember to dump it periodically while you're working. I had to dump my 2.5 gallon twice. As you can see I got it to the point where it's almost impossible to see. I can't find it now unless I'm really looking for it. I think with some practice this could go a lot faster but I really don't want more practice. I would have had to replace all the carpet on the stairs which would have been many times the cost of the dye kit. I would definitely buy this again although I have plenty of leftover dye to do more spots if needed. ... show more

  • So impressed with this system and the support!
I almost never write reviews but am so pleased with this system. Shortly after moving into my rental, my dog got sick on the carpet. I didn’t have any carpet cleaner on hand at the time, so used Tide to clean it up. Bad decision! With time, the tide completely bleached the carpet. (That’s what the pictures are.) Then I did buy carpet cleaner. Who knew that would ruin your carpet too! Between my sister’s dog who was never potty trained and me just spilling things, tons of areas of the carpet have lightened as a result of Rocco pet cleaner (which was the worst offender) and Resolve. I like things to look nice. And I like them to be clean! So every time I looked down, I was frustrated with it. After the Rocco pet cleaner totally ruined so many places, I did some searching around and came across this. I figured I had nothing to lose. When I told a friend I was planning to dye my carpet, they thought I was crazy. Now they’re amazed! I The pictures show the before and after of the tide spot from 4 years ago. The areas that have generally lightened have been harder to do - because the colors in the carpet fibers are irregular. But I’m slowly working through them - and at the very least, this has dramatically improved the look. The key is to go slowly. I’ll work on the lightened areas periodically. And if I’m confused about what color to use next, I will let it dry and go back to it. Also appreciate that you can text them. Jerry responded very quickly to any questions. If you have carpet, this is key! ... show more

  • Very pleased, works exactly as claimed
I had some doubts, but found this product to work very well as claimed. I was also impressed that this product applies our current knowledge of color theory using subtractive color complements. Patience is very important to making it work correctly. Go very slowly by adding a very small amount of color complement in each pass (as directed) until the stained areas match the surrounding carpet. It took me about 2-3 hours to correct several bleach stains that a tenant created by improperly using a counter cleaner (409) that contained chlorine bleach on a room carpet. Now you cannot see any bleach stains at all, and the color of the carpet is uniform throughout. So I am very pleased at the outcome and I would've given five stars if the price of the product was not so high. I realize, however, that if I called a commercial carpet cleaner, I likely would been charged twice the price of this product. ... show more

  • Best customer service I have ever had. Easy to use. Works like magic. It does take time though.
I never write reviews. But I need to share my experience. Basically, my 4 year old got pink chapstick in the carpet. I used some cleaners that ultimately ended up bleaching my carpet. I panicked so I had my husband pick up tan rit dye from the store. That only made matters worse Bc it didn’t match the carpet. So I used diluted bleach to try to get the rit dye out. Which turned my carpet a bright peach color. I had no idea what to do so I searched for a solution, and I came across this system. At first I was skeptical because I thought how can anything fix a bleach stain. I also thought that the system would be hard to use. Well, it did work, and it was very easy to use. First of all, shipping was super fast. I ordered the kit Friday and it got to me on Monday. Secondly, jerry was extremely extremely helpful throughout the entire process. He had me send him pictures and told me to use the stain remover in the kit to try to get the rest of the rit dye out. I did as instructed and it worked for the most part but I ran out. Jerry offered to send me more stain remover but I decided that i just wanted to move forward with the process. Jerry guided me step by step on the phone with what I needed to do. I did spend about 3 or so hours on this but it is so worth it. We live in an apartment and are moving soon and need our security deposit back. Thank you so much jerry! I highly highly recommend this system. It is worth every penny. Carpet is so expensive. This is so much cheaper than having to replace a carpet or forfeiting your security deposit, or worse. ... show more

  • Purchase with caution
Customer service was amazing but the process took A LOT longer than I anticipated. I spent 10 hours on 1 bleach stain with little results. I did have high hopes😩
