Absolutely love these. We don't have blinds and I hate roller shades so these are mounted inside the window and then the drapes are hung outside of the window floor to ceiling. You can't see through these even at night with lights on in the house. You CAN see a shadow if for example you're standing close to the curtain and casting a shadow on it. I have a bedroom where my window faces other peoples windows in an alley. I wanted sheer curtains that would allow light in, but not allow anyone to see into my room, at any time of the day. Regular sheers don’t allow privacy, once there is less light outside. So these take the guessing game out of weather or not you can be seen through your curtains at a certain time of the day. I can have the light on in my room when it’s completely dark outside, and all you can see from the outside is shadows, which is perfect. Since I only purchased these for privacy, and not for looks, I opted to have these stretched across my window for a flat look, over having them ruffled. So I only bought one set. The color of these are very nice. There’s a very faint horizontal pattern within the material that doesn’t make them super plain. As you can see in my photo, they function very well to allow light in, while allowing privacy. The only reason I’m giving them 4 stars, is because mine came with some sort of stain, that the seller wanted me to try to take out myself, over partially refunding me. ... show more

They’re perfect. Let’s in a nice amount of light while providing good privacy. Nice pattern. We used these to replace some very old similar drapes and they look 100x better.
