We bought this because our cat kept knocking down the one we had on magnetic rods. Super annoying. I actually measured correctly and it fit perfectly. The Velcro was easy to attach. I did buy some extra Velcro for the bottom and sides just to discourage the cat from trying to tear it down. It worked. It's been up a week and he has tried to claw at it, but gives up right away. Perfect for front and back door of a little guest house we have. I didn't want to put any holes in the door. Make sure it is exactly where you want it before you put on the first sticky strip. It is super sticky, which is a good thing. Comes with pretty deep creases where it is folded so I did iron it. Be careful if you iron. I did it on low steam with a pillowcase between the iron and the curtain. Came out beautiful. They are room darkening and can't be seen through if someone comes up on the porch to look in at night. The curtain was for my front door. The curtain came with a long, stick on, strip of velcro. It was the exact length of the curtain so there was no need for extra measuring or preparation. Installation consisted of cleaning where the velcro was placed and making sure it was even when applied. Then the curtain was attached to the velcro and it was installed fully. Love these things so much. They do a superior job at blocking annoying sunlight, and at a low price point too. I normally work long 12 hour shifts at a factory, and so on my days off, I like to rest during the day. These readymade, self sufficient curtains make for a superior solution to my dilemma. We recently moved into our first apartment. Our door has a small window and we didn’t like not being able to have privacy and the light coming in and heating the apartment.
