I was a little concerned when reading some of the reviews, but I got this yesterday and it literally took a few minutes to assemble and I started putting clothes on it! I have many shirts and various other things on it, but it is fully loaded and it is great. I can still roll it to various places. While it is not the most sturdy while rolling and tends to want to tip, it is easy to steady and move where you want to go with it without any problems. I can add or remove clothing and never had the sense that it was unsteady or wanting to tip or collapse. It is amazing for the price! The box was a lot smaller than I thought it would be, but it works perfectly and perfect for the extra hanging space that we needed. Great value for the price I paid! This rack is ridciously easy to assemble and serves the purpose for my needs. So far, it's holding my dresses, tops and some sweaters that have overflowed out of my tiny closet. It has expandble arms, not the strongest, but they can hold lightweight items if needed. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase for the price. ... show more

The wheels are hard plastic not rubber but I love how easy this is to roll. The unit is fairly sturdy. It was super easy to assemble. A child could do it. The only tiny negative is that there was some little unfinished black plastic where the rod expands that I was afraid would snag the clothes.

I have one and have ordered it for others in the family and have always gotten it. 4 of them have found a home with us . I have ordered it twice more and have not gotten it or word on when or if ever I will get it. Is there a problem? I really would like this last one. Any news on it.

I use this for craft shows and storage. The base is solid, the wheels are large enough to roll it across a parking lot. It's a little flimsy but does the job for a very reasonable price.

    • Excellent, Sturdy, Easy to Assemble
I purchased this to hang our jackets and coats so I needed it to be sturdy. This rack is exactly what I was looking for. It is made of all metal, including the screws. The wheels are a good size which makes it easy to move around. It took me 5 minutes to put together, super easy. I am very impressed and very happy I got it. I have at at least 20 coats/jackets of various weights hanging and I haven't even needed to use the expandable rods. It seems like it it pricier than something you can get from your local store but I think in the long run this is a better option of much better quality that won't need to be replaced. ... show more

I had to work hard to untangle the pieces from inside the box. I found myself super-excited, though, that the assembly diagram made the rack look easy to assemble, and the two pieces that I was able to put together were easy. However, I tried putting another two pieces together (to assemble foundation), and this broken lever fell out of one of the pieces. The metal levers are flimsy, at best, and seem to easily break, which causes me to no longer believe that this rack would be worth even the $40 I spent on the rack, so I have started a return and will buy another rack that won't fall apart so easily.     • Things to know before you buy
You get what you pay for. So I will try to be objective. First off, it’s a little flimsy. Not the solid garment racks I’m used to. Second, you can’t adjust the height. So all of my long dresses trail onto the floor. With that said, it’s a decent rack. Just not the quality I had hoped for.
