    • matched the flooring I was repairing!
This exactly matched what was in a rental kitchen already. This is a low quality vinyl tile. But, the important thing is that it was the same tile I had so, it could not have been better. It is thin. I had previously replaced some vinyl tiles and they were too thick, so that created problems which resulted in chipping. I had a rockwell tool which I was easily able to scrape up the broken tiles to replace with these. These white ones came perfect.     • OK for the price- wouldn't suggest for high-traffic areas
Not the best quality tile, and the color does vary a little from white to a light blueish tint. Most of ours were the ones with the slight blue tint, which isn't bad for our purpose, and you really only can tell when it is next to the whiter ones. If you use them as a checkerboard, it would probably be better than using the white squares next to each other. This way you won't be able to really notice the shading difference. The sticky backs are VERY messy and will definitely get onto the tile front. You may want to use some reinforcing adhesive if you are using them for a high traffic area. For the price, they aren't bad. We just used them for a small space in our photo area (for our online store), so they work well for us. I will be using a clear sealant for the seams so the edges don't come up when we clean the floor (should moisture get in there). ... show more

    • Sticky mess
The tiles themselves are fine but they have WAY too much adhesive on them. It oozes up between each tile making a black, sticky mess. I read other reports of this so I let them cool in the house for a few days before I used them which seemed to have helped a bit. I tried to clean them up with mineral spirits and it worked fairly well but I'll have to clean them up a second time - maybe even a third to remove all of the extra adhesive. I've had the tiles down for about a month and the adhesive is "setting" and not as sticky now so I can scrape some of it off with my fingernail and mineral spirits. I don't recommend using these tiles as flooring - I'm using them for a project and they would look fine if they didn't have black lines between them. Not a winner. ... show more

    • Exactly what I was expecting.
Different boxes were slightly different in color but I expected that since I read reviews first. Just mix the tiles up from different boxes. No one can tell! Any adhesive that is on the top comes off with orange oil spray really well. Buy spares for the future or in case you screw up cutting (like I did). ... show more

    • Great Product!
Purchased both black and white tiles for a checkerboard look. Tiles were sturdy with good adhesive. They took a little care when cutting or trimming because they cracked when bent too far but once that was understood we had no problem. My mom, who helped me lay the floor and who has done multiple houses in peel and stick tiles, was impressed by the quality of the adhesive. It sticks enough so you don't need to use additional adhesive on edges yet it still allows you to pull the tiles up if you lay one in error or have a problem later on and need to replace it. None of my white tiles had streaks or discoloration (as mentioned in other review) - the white is very, very white and both tiles have a shiny finish. They reflect light well and brighten up the space but because of this you want to take care to prep and clean your surface well to minimize any imperfections because they catch the light and be slightly noticeable. There is also just a small discrepency in size which means the tiles are just a teeny tiny bit off if you are laying a checkerboard pattern. It bothered me when we started and were looking at it from only a few inches away while laying the floor but once we stood up it wasn't even noticeable. Overall this product is easy to use with a little care and preparation and looks to be pretty durable. The end result is an incredibly crisp, clean, and bright space which my husband continues to rave about. ... show more
