I ordered this hoping it would work as a crafting table in a room with a weirdly angled wall, and the package never arrived from FedEx... The tracking information stayed as “delivery information pending” so I reached out to the seller and they were absolutely amazing They agreed to send out a new desk if the tracking information did not change for one week, so they monitored it and one week and two days later I got the desk! It fits perfectly against my weirdly angled walls, it seems sturdy, and assembling it was so easy - the instructions (only had photos) were easy to follow, there weren’t too many parts to put together, everything was clearly labeled and they even included a screwdriver for assembling so you don’t need anything additional to be able to put it together All in all I’m very happy with my purchase! ... show more

The desk is larger than expected but that is on me. I did not read the measurements as the desk looked small enough in the photos. That aside, it is a nice looking desk. The photos are deceiving, look at the measurements. My intent was to keep it folded a majority of the time and open in the morning for work. The desk does not seem as though it is meant to be opened and closed daily. There is nothing to protect the surface of the bottom desk, nor the floor that the "L" shaped part pivots from. The desk is only designed to pivot occasionally, that is disappointing. I think small roller wheels would have been appropriate. I put it together by myself in a couple of hours, it was pretty easy. I have 2 gripes with the construction. 1) is the rods that connect the book shelf/ pivoting part the screw hole for one of them was thread bare so when it swing the bookshelf piece out sometimes it lifts off of the bottom shelf. 2) you really can't put any thing of weight in the bookshelf piece because, again, there are no wheels, so the bottom of the desk just drags on the floor. Anything with some weight to it would make it difficult to pull that piece out. I like the desk I just don't think it is a well thought out design unless you plan to leave in an L shape as a standard with only occasionally collapsing it. I am going to keep it, I like it, I am just disappointed that it does not appear to be for everyday reconfiguring. ... show more

I purchased this to use as a media stand for my bedroom. The height of the main part is perfect to hold my 42” TV. I assembled everything by myself in a little over an hour. The directions are pretty straight forward and each piece was labeled with a number sticker. It also comes with the necessary tools to put it all together. As long as you can read letters and follow a picture, there shouldn’t be any issue. It is so far holding my decently heavy TV without any bowing. This desk so far seems to be something that will last quite awhile and hopefully will withstand a move at some point in the future. There also seems to be some sort of coat over the pieces that make it resistant to scratching. The 2 pieces do not attach in anyway so you would be moving 2 separate parts into the desired shape/size. That coating will be a furniture saver since I like to rearrange my room every now and again. All in all, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a sleek, modern look to a room. ... show more

    • Two seperate pieces Held by Gravity, not connected by the bar.

Pictures are a little misleading. Like the title says, this table is actually 2 separate pieces, one balances and sits on top of the other held only by gravity. I bought it thinking it was actually connected by a pivot bar. The wood is just plywood, and the design/material isn't that sturdy by touch. But looks like there's pictures of people stacking significant weight on it, so well see how it holds up over time. If you grew up building legos, the install is pretty straight forward. Took me maybe and hour by myself, and would've saved time if I had an electric screwdriver. I'm a little let down, but for the price, its what you pay for. I'll be keeping it. I’m very pleased with this desk. I love the look of it, and it’s great for a smaller space. I’m adding pictures because I didn’t see it configured this way in the other reviews. It’s sturdy enough for my use, but as other reviewers have mentioned, it’s not ideal if you’re looking to move it around often (especially on carpet). IMO, the quality is comparable to furniture from the big Swedish store. Assembly was straightforward. Directions say it takes two to assemble, but I did it on my own pretty easily. ... show more

While the directions say 2 people will take an hour to complete this, I finished in 45 minutes alone. Very easy to follow. One peg broke when I moved it, but they gave extra, so no worries. The product description says the desk "Hinges," but I couldn't conceptualize that - but it does! The desk can be at any angle OR one straight line. Beautiful. Sturdy.
