I bought this desk in Feb. of 2017 after moving to a new apartment. The price was fair and I received it without any issues, this includes the packaging. Spreading it out to put it together I realized that there were a lot of parts to it, so make sure you have some time to actually put it together without rushing. It took me maybe an hour and a half. Also, have one hand an actual screw driver, the one they provide is quite difficult and obnoxious to use (Too small). I was impressed with the sturdiness and overall look. It looks clean and well designed. No 'wobble' or anything to make believe it may come crashing down at any moment. Drawers work fine and plenty of space for what I use them for. The one issue, which is very nit picky, is I bought the black surface one which shows smudges and 'arm' prints. However a simple wipe of the towel clears that up. 5/5 simply because its study and came well prepared.

I love the look of this desk and being someone who needs extra storage for my books and things this desk really set the bar! I love the white color of this desk and I love they it has feet rest so that I can sit comfortably!! Now setting up this baby room is three hours! (Yeah u read that right!) however we did have to take a dinner break so that might be why it took so long. However it's streaky and fits perfectly in my small apartment bedroom and even with all my stuff it still feels spacious! I have my printer sitting on the top shelf and it's one of those bigger printers and it looks just fine! I'm a pharmacy student so I'm always studying and need my books spread out so I like that this desk allows me to do that and still look stylish! The wood is a nice natural looking wood and feels high quality the metal accents are nice to magnetic reminds! I don't have a desk top computer so I use the last cubby for more storage! I'm in love with this desk and this has got to be the nicest build it urself desk I've owned! The instructions are pretty clear too which is really nice since there were so many parts to keep up with! My tip is pull everything out of the box before u start and also do NOT remove the plastic from the metal pieces!!

Nice desk for the price. Took an MIT PhD engineer about 4 hours to assemble with a moderate amount of swearing, even with a power screwdriver to make it faster. An amazing amount of hardware was included. The instructions were okay but sometimes not clear on how to orient a piece so that you had 50-50 odds of having to unscrew a piece and turn it around. There is an error in step 20-- uses 2 E screws and 2 I or N pieces (can't remember which, but it's the one you have enough of at that late stage of assembly). There were enough parts nevertheless. One side shelf has a small crack where the screw inserts so I have asked Aosom to replace that piece. They sent a very nice email upon shipment imploring me to contact them for any problems, so I imagine it won't be an issue to get a replacement. The desk is a nice medium size--not sure about the claim that it fits multiple monitors--maybe if they are not too big and you don't need much other writing space. We got white/oak, and the oak is more whitish than it appears in the pic. It's sort of a slightly whitewashed or pickled wood look. Attractive, but a little surprising. All in all, a good deal if you don't mind a fair bit of assembly. My son is happy.

As anyone knows, when buying a desk for home use, at least for me, there's a lot to take into consideration. The total size and height. Leg room, drawer size, etc. The only downside to this desk was that it had no option to purchase a keyboard tray with it. It took me about 3 weeks to finally decide on this desk. The seller was awesome with speed. Initially I got a notice of 5 to 7 days. It showed up in 3. The package was totally intact. It took me about 2 hours to put together by myself. The instructions were very detailed. I just took my time to make sure I did it right. I'm very happy with this desk. It fit my needs perfectly. The top shelf is perfect for my printer, an Epson XP-310 in case anyone is wondering about the size. There is plenty of storage, the drawers are roomy enough, and it's a solid build. The keyboard tray issue? I just took the the one of my old desk and installed it on this one. It's perfect.

Ended up missing two key pieces for the desk and was sent two packs of rusty screws. The only replacement option that was offered was to send another package that contains half of the desk along with the missing parts. Quite a waste of material and a hassle to deal with when I will end up throwing away the extra pieces. Don’t count on getting ahold of anyone for help unless it’s between 12am-5am. Makes getting any help take forever. By the time this desk will be completed it will be close to a month since I ordered it. My request for a partial refund was also completely ignored. This desk was not at all worth any of the hassle. It’s cute but you can find something similar that won’t have nearly as many issues and make you want to scream. Update: I was resent one of the packages that contained the two missing pieces for the desk so I now have over 60lbs of extra desk parts I have to throw away somehow. Not only that but I ran out of the cam locks as well when I went to finish the desk. This is a truly horrible product with even worse customer support.

A few years ago I purchased this desk in maple/white for a relative, and recently purchased a second one in black. I am vey satisfied with each. Both are very study and have a polished look - unlike those items that look "off" or crooked after careful assembly, which means that all parts are cut to precision and thoughtfully designed. The drawers slide easily and fit nicely. Assembly will take some time, especially for the inexperienced; users with moderate ability can assemble this in 3-5 hours. I have found this desk to be of better quality than others made of the same material, while much less expensive - TRULY an outstanding value.
