    • Great little heater, except for...
Mine was wired in such a way that when the thermostat turned off the heater, it also turned off the fireplace light! I'm an electronic tech so I took it apart and rewired it so the fireplace light doesn't turn off when thermostat turns the heater off. Now I love this little thing!

The unit is really small but that's not the main issue. I just used mine for the first time worked perfect for about 30 minutes, it shut off completely, when I checked to see why it was very hot to touch, the cord was hot as i went to unplugged it and there was a burning smell, like an electrical burning. It was so bad I moved it outside to be safe. Please be careful using this product. I will be returning this asap. ... show more
