I purchased an alternative down filled comforter 18 months ago that was > $200 from a big known bedding company. It lasted only a few months before I had to toss in the garbage. Some of the baffle stitching was coming out and it had no fill left in some areas from shifting after only a few weeks/ others had big bunched up blobs of fill. This homby comforter is better quality and well made. It is thinner, but I like that. My husband is the picky one about bedding, and he loves it. We love this blanket! Cali king bed. No more fighting and tugging at blankets lol we have plenty. Its a pain to clean because its so huge and fluffy but it holds well once washed. The length allowed me to cover my pillows and use shams which matched my window treatments. It was oversized enough to have the drop on the side of my bed that I wanted. Just the right weight. I wish they sold matching king sized shams.

I could not for the life of me find a standard sized king comforter that would cover my 14" mattress. Found this comforter and immediately ordered. The size is perfect and drapes over my mattress with plenty of room to spare. Gives my bed a cozy look.
