I like these cups a lot if I am feeling fancy...they do make life a little more difficult because you have to hand-wash the bamboo caps and the glass straws. Sometimes my pile of straws grows until I decide I really feel like washing them. I do like that these come with the straw cleaners. We love these glasses. They wash with their vinyl grip on just perfectly in the dishwasher. They are awesome for hot beverages. One problem: the bamboo lids don’t hold up. Never in the dishwasher; always hand washed. But the “bamboo” design peels and stains, no matter how cleaned. They do sell vinyl replacement lids, so plan on that. In fact, if you buy these, go find the replacement lids. Someone is disabled here and glasses that can’t be spilled are absolutely necessary here…, and we LOVE them. Overall Review I'm a big fan of these glass cups! They're a great value for the price, and I've been really happy with them so far. My review covers three areas: Packaging The packaging was excellent. The glasses were individually wrapped in cushinoed cardboard and further padded with cardboard surrounding packaging. There was only a small amount of plastic tape used to secure the box and to hold the tape and cleaning tools in place (more on that later). While it’s a small step in the right direction, every step counts, so I appreciate that the company used sustainable resources for the packaging. Glass Quality The glasses are very well-made. They're made of high-quality borosilicate glass, which is known for its strength and durability (just Google it to learn more). The glass straws are also very sturdy. The bamboo tops are a nice touch, and they fit snugly on the glasses (with the silicone seals on the tops) to reduce leaks. They work great for both hot and cold drinks, both of which I drink regularly, so they’re very versatile. Overall Value I think the overall value of these glasses is excellent. You get 8 glasses, cleaning tools, and silicone grips for a very reasonable price. I've been using mine for a few weeks now, and they're still in perfect condition. I highly recommend these glasses to anyone looking for a durable and stylish reusable cup option. I especially like the silicone grips. They make the glasses easier to hold and insulate your hands from the cold or warmth of the liquid (and keeps the liquid itself from changing temperature from your hands). They can be a little tricky to remove, but given the sturdiness of the glass, I was able to remove them to clean the glasses and can put them back on without too much difficulty. I also appreciate that the company includes cleaning tools. This makes it easy to keep the glasses clean and fresh. Overall, I'm very happy with these glass cups! I have teenaged kids & early 20s, last year I bought skinny plastic like tumblers with lids & straws & it’s now a tradition! I get everyone the most popular cup at the time. I love it I think it’s give everyone something to look forward to together! I had seen these cups online and I thought they were gorgeous. I was afraid to look them up because I knew they had to be expensive. I was completely shocked when I saw a steel these were listed for. I couldn’t believe it was the exact cups I wanted made out of glass with straws and lids and even the little band around it to help with insulation.!!!! Everyone loved their glasses!
