I heard about the Swedish dishcloth craze, and I was hesitant to jump in. I didn't know if it was just hype. However, I think I may be sold after trying this set. These dishcloths arrive hard and rough. They are completely stiff. However, once you put them in water, its a completely different story. They become soft and are extremely absorbent. I wiped my counter down with them and was able to scrub with the (now) slightly textured backside and got the dried-up sauce spots on my countertop cleaned up in no time. Then I wrung the towel out as normal and left it out to dry on my kitchen sink. The next day, it was completely stiff again. Completely dried. I had even hung it up to dry, just left it next to my other regular dishcloth. No worry of mold! No mildew! No odors! And to wash these dishcloths, you just toss them in the washing machine or dishwasher (no dryer obviously because they don't need it). The patterns seemed a little distorted, like the fruit were stretched out, but when they expanded with water, they looked normal. They came with four plastic adhesive clips that hold up the towel well enough. I do worry that perhaps they won't be able to hold the towel when its wet, but I guess you have to make sure you get almost all of the water out of it. It did seem a little odd that there wasn't one clip for each towel, but not a huge deal since the listing only advertised sending three. The size of the dishcloth is just big enough for you to spread your hand behind it, so its not that big. You aren't going to be able to fold these and use another size, but that's not the point. You're supposed to rinse and reuse it, so just set your expectations accordingly. Overall, I'm really excited about switching to these towels instead of the traditional dishcloth. I can imagine these lasting quite a while, and then you can compost them when you're done using them!

I am forever running out of paper towels, to find out that ONE (1) of these Swedish Dishcloths in this package of six (6) is the equivalent of SEVENTEEN (17) ROLLS, yes. I did say seventeen rolls of paper towels is = to one of these dishcloths was mind-blowing to me, as that is a lot of paper towels! These were offered in several designs, I don't honestly recall the other designs, but I choose the geometric offering, and as shown in the attached pictures. These are seriously amazing, as well as environmentally sound in use. They include four (4) little clips, with a peel off adhesive on the back for attaching to hang dry after use. Not scratchy, and for use on anything I suppose you would use paper towels for, except puppies. If you have a puppy you might want to use a more disposable method of picking up certain things after, just mentioning, lol. They seem to be quite absorbent, and once squeezed out? Drying time seems relatively quick. Its mentions washing in laundry, or (I found this interesting) tossing into the dishwasher. Something I don't think I have ever thought to do with anything other than dishes within, a good suggestion and plan on trying out to see how that method turns out. Very pleased with myself to choose these instead of ONE HUNDRED & TWO ROLLS OF PAPER TOWELS!!! Yep, at seventeen rolls per cloth times 6? That is what you would have to buy and toss everyone out to equal this portion of Swedish dishtowels. If all works as I feel they will? I will most def obtain from now on instead of wasting all the paper towels as I am ashamed I have been... Thank you.

If you've used Swedish dishcloths before, you know how great they are. When I buy swedish dishcloths online, though, some tend to not be that great -- not as absorbent, not as good at scrubbing, not as useful for washing dishes or cleaning up. That's not the issue here. These are genuinely lovely. A few things I like about them: -I love the overall feel of these. They feel like I'd expect from a Swedish Dishcloth, which is great. -These have the cutest patterns. I love how these look. I have a citrus-themed kitchen and use some great fruit accents to decorate, and these are PERFECT for that aesthetic. -These are SO absorbent. I love how much these absorb liquids. As a cat owner, they're regularly dripping their water or splattering it, and this is a huge help. They also love to knock glasses over, which means a lot of spill cleanup, and these are perfect for that. -The price feels like a good value for the number of cloths you get. The cloths also feel like they'll last a long time, just considering how durable they feel, meaning this value also feels like a long-lasting one. I would definitely buy a set of these as a housewarming gift for anyone I know who is just starting off, but I also would buy a new pack of these for myself when/if these start to wear out... I think I'll be waiting a while for that to happen!
