    • Good value for nice towels in a variety of colors

This review is for the Homaxy brand 100% Cotton Terry Kitchen Towels, 13 x 28 inches. In our kitchen, we have small microfiber cloths to wash dishes and wipe counters, larger textured cloths to dry dishes, and medium-sized terry cloth towels just used to dry our hands. We hang the latter from the side of our fridge, and it is surprising to me that I have a hard time finding attractive terry kitchen towels that are not enormous and will go with our décor, which is blue. I was happy to see these reasonably-priced Homaxy brand 100% Cotton Terry Kitchen Towels. At 13 inches by 28 inches, they are just the right size for drying hands and are not too large for the side of the fridge. They come in a number of colors – including a pretty blue color that is just right for our kitchen. These Homaxy towels are 100% cotton and the looped terry texture is on both sides of the towel. The white stitching that forms the checkerboard pattern is within channels in the fabric, and the white stitching is only visible on one side of the towel, but this doesn’t really detract from the appearance. The short ends of the towels have a nice wide cotton hem, which is narrower on the long sides. Stitching on the seams is close and well-finished, and the towels are soft and nicely absorbent. I might use them to dry dishes with as well as just for drying our hands. The one and only minor shortcoming is that the towels do not have a loop for hanging. However, the care label is looped and I use it for that, as shown in my photo. I think these are nice towels and am happy with them. ... show more

    • nice towels, but nothing special to justify their current price per towel. (2 for $13)

Product: Homaxy 100% Cotton Terry Kitchen Towels, 13 x 28 inches Checkered Designed, Soft and Super Absorbent Dish Towels, 2 Pack Grass Green PROS - 100% cotton CONS - current price GENERAL / OVERALL There are a few different sizes of kitchen towels. These are the larger 13" x 28" size. That notwithstanding, they are 100% cotton, but currently priced at $12.99 puts them at the higher end of comparable products. They are nice towels, but nothing special to justify the higher price relative to other Amazon sellers that are offering comparable or larger sizes & quantities for a lower price (per towel). ... show more

    • Unusual size - measure to be sure you like the size, 100% Cotton, yay!
At first I was not sure about the size, but it’s only because all my previous towels are wider, so these seemed unusual. I hang two towels on the wall near the sink, and it turns out these fit the situation just fine. Once you handle them over a few days, you may find that the size is totally acceptable. I do like the 100% cotton material, and the black/white color fits nicely in my kitchen. They are very absorbent and doesn’t seem to shed like some other brands do. I looked for a while before I chose these towels as I didn’t want to be disappointed. I had already shopped at a couple of stores nearby before I made my decision, and I’m pleased that I took the extra time. The pricing falls right into place with others I’ve considered, and I’m hoping they will last a reasonably long time. I plan to buy more, as I like the towels to match when hanging on the wall out in the open. :-) ... show more

    • Nice Color, Unusual Size
Review Image by AvgJoe AvgJoe
Picked up a couple of the "Grass Green" examples to see how well they complement our sage green kitchen cabinets. It's a great match - a bit darker, but a close blue/green tone match. I washed them up using a standard cycle (warm water) along with some white smooth cotton towels - I have no patience for special wash cycles! And...No shrink or bleed. Not even a hint of green on those white towels. The only "negative" (and I'm not sure it actually is) is the size. They are longer and narrower than "standard" dish towels. when folded, they don't play nicely with the rest of the standard towel stack, but when in use, they actually fit the dishwasher handle better than the others. ... show more

    • Soft and absorbent kitchen towels, pretty pink color

I ordered the Homaxy Cotton Terry kitchen towels in a pretty pink color to brighten my kitchen as I look forward to spring. These towels are 100% cotton terry and are soft and absorbent. They do a great job at drying dishes and my hands and don't leave lint on my dishes. Measuring 12 3/4 wide and 27 inches long after machine washing and drying, the towels are about 4 inches narrower than I prefer for kitchen towels. The terry cloth is about the same weight and thickness as my other kitchen towels and just as absorbent. They hold their shape after repeated use. I used the warm water cycle and the normal dry cycle and while they may have shrunk a little, the shrinkage was even and the towels don't bunch at the sides. ... show more

    • Longer and skinnier kitchen towels = easier to hang through a loop
I am reviewing B0FXM9HDKJ "Homaxy 100% Cotton Terry Kitchen Towels, 13 x 28 inches Checkered Designed, Soft and Super Absorbent Dish Towels, 2 Pack Navy Blue". These towels are longer but skinnier than any of my current kitchen towels. The tags say 100% cotton and they do feel like cotton terrycloth. It also says machine wash gentle, and "dry in the shade." I haven't seen that on any of my towels before, and will probably tempt fate by putting them in the dryer. (Will not hold it against them if it turns out badly though) The sewing is not great, but acceptable for cotton towels priced at $12 for 2 (at the time I ordered). I chose the "Navy Blue" option which is actually more of a dark steel blue to me. ... show more

    • Soft Fabric is Highly Absorbant; No Shedding; Great Value
I received a pack of two cotton terrry towels in the black checkered design. They are made with very soft fabric that is absorbant and effective to dry dishes. They do not shed any lint on glassware/dishes. The towels washed well and did not shrink in the dryer on low heat. I like that the black is very black and the checkered design is appealing. The only con I have is that they are not very wide (or sized as traditional dish towels). The length is good but the width seems short—they are advertised correctly though; 13” wide. But they are very effective and I’m satisfied with them. The price is right and the current coupon price makes this a great value! ... show more
