Excellent day backpack for walking, hiking, or travel. I loaded it up with a flashlight, reflective gear, shoes, phone, and more. It has plenty of room, and the many different pockets make it easy to organize your gear. Two mesh side pockets fit my large-sized phone or a water bottle easily, and allow for easy access to them. I would be cautious about loading up anything really heavy in it because the nylon is thin. I would have subtracted a star for that, but given the price, that seems unfair. For its price, the quality is surprisingly good. And the thinness of the fabric is what makes it so lightweight. So far, I've used it for a couple of hour-long walks. Very pleased with the comfort. The straps are super comfortable, and the pack, even loaded up, felt weightless while walking. I question the durability, but if it holds up for daily use, I will be very happy. ... show more

So, it's absolutely NOT water resistant. Everything in my bag was soaked after a 20 minute walk in light to moderate rain. I even had to put a towel in the bottom of it to absorb some of the water. Got this to use for 7 day week at camp, and by day four the straps are tearing and the strap to hang it completely tore off. Nothing majorly big or heavy just the small essentials. This back pack has plenty of room. It is perfect for day trips. It has numerous zippered pockets. Very lightweight as they said. Straps are a bit flimsy but that goes with the lightweightness of it. The red color is perfect. I would recommend this product.

I have to say, this is such a clever design, it’s amazing how it can pack up so small and yet have so many different compartments and zippered areas. One thing that bothers me a little are the straps, they’re so close together at the top that it can be a little uncomfortable. But overall cool bag.

Light weight backpack! Nice true purple color. My son wanted a purple backpack, and this one was affordable. It also wasn't lavendar or sparkly - so hard to find purple stuff that is unisex or masculine - most is very princess-y. We'll see how it holds up for the school year.

This is a decent size pack for quick runs to the store or for a day hike. I like it for traveling because it really DOES fold right down into its little pocket. My daughter loved this backpack, but as soon as thr return window expired the stitching of the straps started to fray, proof that it was not suitable for heavy use. If you don't plan on such heavy use it's fine.
