Was looking for wheels to attach to a big wine barrel i was going to use as planter box so we would be able to move it around later. I bought 4 wheels at home for $50 and they didnt even rotate. I had 2 more barrels and didnt want to spend $100 more dollars on wheels that didnt even rotate. I checked amazon and found these. I ordered 2 sets for less than 1 set would have costed at home depot and am so impressed and kicking my self for not checking amazon before. Im stuck with the ones for the first barrel and its hard to move around. These wheels are sturdy, came with the washers needed for a good fit, and easily move around. ... show more

These casters seem quite sturdy. Some folks have shown photos of these collapsing. However in all those photos the wheels were not screwed into the shelves to their top. The photos show the screw shaft bent and that can't happen with them screwed all the way in. That leaves the long screw to bend and collapse. These are not stilts and the nut and assembly MUST MUST MUST be screwed all the way in and then use a wrench to tighten them into the shelve posts. Second point the brake mechanism holds very well and is also robust. I am delighted with this product and it works well for my wire shelves. ... show more
