Our original storage bag lasted five years of wear and tear before finally tearing at a couple seams. This has proven to be a very good replacement thus far noting it's made of thicker, more durable fabric, the zippers are definitely more heavy duty, and it's slightly more spacious than the previous one. It seems to be very nice quality, but there were no inserts to form it. I am afraid that over time the pole of the tree will poke through it. It also makes it difficult to store because of the awkward shape from the tree inside. I guess I should of read the description for the bags listed instead of just relying on the picture. I was happy to see that it fit my Xmas tree easily. The materials seem sturdy and heavy duty. The only thing negative I have to say is that I wish it had interior support. It was clunky and hard to carry with the handles alone. I had to use jumpy cords to make it more sturdy to carry.

We got our first artificial tree this year. It is a three-section 7.5' pre-lit tree that probably is a bit on the "full" side of the width spectrum. It came crammed into a box that took two people to lift. It took us over an hour to bend the branches out so they looked realistic. It came out looking great. However, I did not relish the idea of collapsing all the branches into the smallest possbile width only to have to rebend them back out next year. After reading the reviews of people struggling to get their 7.5' trees into a "Large" size storage bag (designated for up to 7.5' trees), I decided to order two of the Large size bags. I put the top two sections in one bag and the bottom section, tree stand, and power pack for the lights in the other. The end result was just about a perfect fit. An added benefit is that the total weight is now distributed between two bags which can each be easily carried by a single person. One other tip: I cut an opening in an extra tennis ball and slipped that over the metal tip of the bottom section to the tree to avoid having it accidentally poke through the fabric of the storage bag. I am very satisfied with the storage bags and am glad I splurged for the two "Large" size bags rather than attempting to cram everything into a single bag. I did consider getting one "Extra Large" size bag (for up to 9' trees) but decided against it because it would not solve the total weight problem. Hope this helps. ... show more

My Christmas tree is 7 feet tall. The bag fits a 9 ft tree. I had to work really hard to get my tree in. Once I did, it was so tight, that one of the zippers broke. Luckily, the bag has two zippers, so I was able to use the second zipper. Probably when I get ready to use the bag this Christmas, the second zipper will break. ... show more
