I received one shelf dented and I feel the shelf is not as heavy duty as pictures and description indicates. I have previously bought heavy duty Shelves from a big box store and these are no where near as thick and sturdy as those. You can see my shelves are different than the stock photos because of number of triangles on each shelf and thickness of poles. I highly doubt the shelves hold 1100# plus.... probably more like 600 lbs. Plus the shelves show shipping weight of 41.4 lbs, yet the small box said 31.1 lbs and the package actually weighed slightly more than 29 lbs. Where is my other 12.3 lbs of "heavy duty" metal??? BUT even with the dent and misrepresented item, I love the shelves. I've put this type together many times, so it only took about 45 minutes. And it would probably have taken less if I hadn't tried to read the instructions ... they were not good. Since I use the room as my closet, my home office, AND a second guest room, I was bummed there was no cover.... but i fixed that simply with $4 "S" hooks, a $9 clearance curtain rod, 2 pretty shower curtains, and $12 of pretty shower curtain hooks. I just love it! The shelf holds quite a lot and i have found i can hook purses and stuff to the end with S hooks. The wheels are definitely a plus. Buy it, but WITH the knowledge that it is less durable than the one in the stock photos and hopefully yours won't come bent. Unfortunately, this is not letting me add photos so you can see what I mean. But overall I really do like the shelving rack.

I looked at a zillion of these things and read reviews. This is the tallest one out there. As another reviewer mentioned, it is a little difficult to get through doorways. However, if you’re not planning to roll it into other rooms you will be fine. This is just what we needed. We don’t have an actual laundry room. Just stackable machines in an upstairs hallway. We moved it upstairs to get it closer to the bedrooms. But this meant we lost folding and hanging space. Now just bring the basket of dry clothes into our bedroom and fold and hang right into this garment rack. Only drawback is the brand name “ho keeper” on the box. If your husband is as dorky as mine this thing will be forever referred to as “the ho keeper”. Ex. Me: “Honey, have you seen my jacket?” Him: “yeah, it’s on the ho keeper”. Me: “where would you like this clean shirt?” Him: “just toss it on the ho keeper”. Wish us luck.

I truly love this portable closet rack. It is the second one I have purchased. The first one was perfectly made. The only reason I gave this second item a 4 star instead of a 5 star is because two of the smaller shelves were not completely welded at the end. I needed to use it right away, so I didn't have time to return it or get those parts replaced. However, that being said, once I had it all hooked up, the two smaller shelves were still able to hold the items needed, so it wasn't a problem. My only suggestion to anyone purchasing this item is to remove it from the box immediately upon receipt to make sure all your shelves are properly welded in the event it needs to be returned.

I used this to store some things in the back of a garage, as well as to hang some vacuum bags with seasonal jackets. All the shelves are adjustable height, as are the hooks. You may want to have a second person to help assemble if you are short, just to hold the four posts in place as you slide in the first shelf. Still doable though, as I managed by myself. Great for the price!
