This is my 3rd pair of Hoka Gaviota. I use this motion control model since I have one ankle that over prorates. I got my first pair in 2017 when I was training to run my first marathon and they got me to the finish line (even though I felt like I was wearing clown shoes)! I liked that they gave me more cushion than the Brooks I'd been wearing. My running days are behind me now, but these are so comfortable for my chronic plantar fasciitis so I can still take walks without too much pain. ... show more

Love these! Was a Brooks girl all the way but over the last few years they've changed the designs so much and their shoes now hurt my feet. I decided to give these a try and they are sooo comfortable! Fit well, don't flare my Achilles tendinitis or plantar fasciitis. Comfortable toe box, good for walking and every day use. You can not go wrong with Hoka's. While they are pricy shoes, you absolutely get what you pay for. These are supportive yet very comfortable shoes. My ankles roll on occasion when I walk but these shoes correct my gait and I do not find that happening nearly as much. I highly recommend these shoes.

This is my fourth pair of Hoka’s as I have had several foot surgeries continue to have feet issues. My podiatrist recommended Hoka’s to me. Unfortunately these pair absolutely kill my feet! I’m on concrete all day and by the time I get home, I’m in tears. I do not know what the difference in these are compared to the last 3 pair. They do not work for me! ... show more

This is my second pair of Gaviota 4 Hokas and they still continue to prove that they get the job done, especially for those who need a supportive shoe! Love them! However, these are just a little pricey.

Although was shipped wrong size, 6.5 instead of 7, but turns out that’s a good size for me. Appeared to have been tried on before, but I kept them anyway, bc I love them!!
