They were theWRONG size!!! Super infuriated. These sneakers were very expensive and I settled for a weird color so I could spend $168 instead of $209?! Both prices are over the top! And… shipping took way too long for this price. Don’t buy these sneakers.

I wanted to love these shoes! So many people I know love them, but right when I put them on I felt something was off. Wore them around the house and my right foot kept rubbing on the side. After feeling uncomfortable for over an hr I checked and the sole of the shoe on the right is higher than the one on the left. If you look at the pictures you see by the little air pocket and tongue the sole is much higher up. It made a difference and made my foot rub. Return is in process and I will rate stars after to see how the return is handled. ... show more

Either you love them or hate them, for me they were very uncomfortable, bought them for walking and they were very uncomfortable to walk in. Maybe you will like them as for me they are just too expensive for setting in the shoe closet.

    • Wanted to like this shoe......but I just don't.
I am a Brooks fan and will continue to be, apparently. However, I do like to branch out and try other brands just for variety. I had heard so much about Hokas, I decided to try a pair. I have previously purchased the Bondi 7, Clifton 8 and the Bondi X, and am marginally satisfied with them. I had heard very good things about the Bondi 8, so decided to try it. No, just no. I expected it to be bulky - as my other Hokas are - but this was something else. These truly look like clown shoes - so BIG and wide! The outsole in the stock photo looks white, when in fact it is really more of a dull cement/concrete color - not appealing at all. The fit is not good - it hits my arch in a strange way and I have normal feet/arches. I just don't understand the hype about this brand and will likely not be purchasing any from Hoka again. I am much happier with my Brooks. If you are looking for a really great comfortable shoe that is sleek and not bulky, try the Brooks Glycerin 20. ... show more
