I have had some injuries and have hardware in one foot; so shoes are really important to me. My foot, was hurting a lot for the past month or two. I usually walk a lot, but I was limping and limiting exercise. Which really affected my quality of life. I saw this Hoka brand around quite a bit lately. My cousin had a pair, so I asked them and they said they walked for hours and hours. They were really comfortable. I didn’t have high hopes, but from the minute I put them on, my foot felt so much better! The headline is magical, because that’s how I feel about the change. It has only been a week, but my foot feels much better already. I will write that they are a bit noisy, but that may be because they are new. We’ll see. ... show more

I am typically a Saucony shoe wearer, but I thought I'd give these a try after reading some running magazine reviews. I am not a runner, but I do walk. First, the shoes fit great. I wear a 8.5 wide. This size was not available so I bought a 9. They fit fine. There is plenty of room in the toe box and the length. I also often wear orthotics for plantar fasciitis in my shoes. There was room for these and they fit fine with them, with just a tiny bit of heel slippage. The shoes are very comfy. In fact, I was fine to wear them without orthotics! I like that the top is stretchy mesh (making the shoes lighter), but that there is structure on the sides for protection and to keep them from getting stretched out and sloppy looking. I also like that the tongue of the shoe is very light and edged in leather to make it sturdy. Last, but not least, the color is great- super fun! I bought the aqua with the pink and orange sole/bottoms. Even the laces are bright with yellow ends. Overall, I am very pleased with these shoes and now my husband wants a pair. ... show more

Update: Seller refunded with no issues. These are described as size 9 on the product listing but are actually 9B which means they are narrow width. That makes a big difference and I would not have bought them if they had been represented correctly. I will be returning these if they do not fit properly. Disappointed in the Target box they were shipped in. Nothing to keep them from banging around in the large box that's been used multiple time and has other people's names on old shipping labels. ... show more

    • Great shoe but only lasts 6 months (unless the company wants to warrantly).
I love the shoe (paired with the Cruv Heal shoe insert) it has aided in completely healing my plantar fascitis. This is my 2nd purcahse of this shoe (because I dont want that foot pain to return), but what I dislike is the SUPER EXPENSIVE shoe only lasts 6 months. The 1st pair I got a little hole on the top near my pinky toe. The second the sole lifted and is ready to tear off right where the VIBRAM logo is in the center. I stil have a lot of tread to use and I am upset that at this price that I will need a new pair now. Also I would love better colors to choose from. To add the positives, the shoe is comfortable and fits well. I am an avid hiker and they work well on the trails. ... show more
