No lockdown. Lots of forefoot space. Nice rocket sole, attractive pair of shoes, easy to keep clean. 4/5 as a running shoe you must wear a pair of socks that can fill forefoot for cushioning and heels for protection from lining. Mildly over priced, similar prices sneakers from asics are superior

The fit is perfect and face it, ordering shoes online is a crapshoot regarding sizing most of the time. I did a test run and they feel great. I look forward to my first race in a few days in them but certainly wish I were in racing shape.

    • Average trainer shoes
For the price, these are pretty average shoes, i found them heavier than the Asics Metaspeed Sky+ and don't really help with speed vs Asics Metaspeed Sky+. They are wider at the front, but doesn't have as good a cushioning. They are OK as trainers, but I wouldn't use them for marathons.
