These Ts are the perfect layering shirt !The material is thin enough to wear under a sweatshirt, but thick enough to be worn on their own. They are soft and have a bit of stretch to them. I would say the fit is slightly large, so if your child is between sizes, I would size down, especially if you want to be able to layer. Got these for our kids and they've been wearing them pretty much daily for the past few weeks. The cotton is soft right out of the package and hasn't gotten rough or shrunk after washing. That's always the worry with cheaper kids' tees but these held up fine. The fit is true to size and there's enough room for them to move around without the shirts being baggy. Three in a pack makes it easy to keep a rotation going during the week. Nothing fancy, just solid basic tees that do their job. For everyday wear, you really can't go wrong with these. These shirts are great basic tees from a brand I have trusted since I was a kid. The cotton feels soft right out of the box almost like it has already gone through a wash. My son pulls on his collars all the time so I am grateful these have a thicker reinforced collar. He usually stretches out every shirt he owns but these hold their shape much better. The fabric feels solid and the stitching looks clean which is nice to see in kids clothes since they take a beating. We stick with simple tees that can survive playground use and these fit that need. The price feels fair for the quality and they do not feel like thin disposable shirts. Shrinkage is the only thing to watch out for since they are 100 percent cotton. We rarely dry shirts in our house for that reason and I would avoid tossing these in the dryer if you want them to keep their size. They fit great as is. My son is 8 and we ordered a medium which fits him perfectly with a little room to grow. They look comfortable they feel durable and they have already become part of his regular rotation. ... show more
