I really liked the now discontinued Mach 5 sneaker. Tried the Mach 6 and didn’t love it. But these are great. They aren’t the best looking sneakers (they look like orthopedics from the interior side view). But they feel light, and offer plenty of cushion. Knees are feeling better already versus the Mach 6. Very comfortable shoe. I like the raised heel as opposed to a loop. It is easier to slip my foot into the shoe. I normally wear a 7.5 US, and I bought the size 8 US. It’s a great fit.

The shoes were defective. The left fit perfectly but the right one was extremely tight across the front of my foot near where the shoelaces start and across my little toe and down the right side of my right foot. The shoes were definitely not the same size. The right was so tight as to leave red marks on my toe and edge of my foot after wearing them for a short time. I tried returning them to Legend Footwear but they said that they had been worn and would be charging me a 100% restocking fee. Do not ever buy from this Amazon Reseller. ... show more

Our family loves hoka shoes, and Clifton 9 is great, but I just had a very disappointing experience with a purchase from one seller. I ordered a size 10.5 of Clifton 9 on this page, the regular 10.5. Not 10.5 wide, which is a separate option. I, however, ended up receiving the wide. If it was just that, I’d think it was a simple mistake, but I was shocked to see the width info on the box literally cut out with a knife or something, as if to hide it. It felt intentional and deceptive, and it was a very disappointing experience. I immediately returned the item, and reordered the same on Zappos. It was a hassle at the last minute during the crazy holiday season, and just left a bitter taste, making me want to avoid unknown sellers altogether :( ... show more
