Just what I needed for an activity with kids. Nice, clear sound. If it matters to you a great deal, the striker is all metal with a looped end, rather than the rubber stopper shown in the picture. It worked just fine for my needs and the kids had a great time taking turns ringing it.

Bought this as a gift for my 6 year old daughter. She had used one in music class and wanted one of her own. It is a very basic design but it works well and sounds okay.
