I have not installed this yet but I am ready to. I got this because I have been reading how moisture can damage your air tools. I always see water coming out of my air line and realized it was time to do something about it. I will eventually put in an air dryer of the homemade type but for now I just want to protect my tools better than I have been. This come to fit three different size lines and you choose the one you want when you order it. It is a filter and a regulator combination. The maximum it is rated for is 140psi but I never go above 120psi. It has a semi-automatic drain which means it will drain off water when there is not pressure in the line but if you are running your compressor for a long time to don’t turn it off and relieve the pressure you will have to manually drain the water. The ad shows a picture of the filter coming off the tank line but I will install mine between the compressor and the tank to keep moisture out of the tank. Then maybe another one after the tank until I can get my air dryer connected. I realize that defeats the purpose of the regulator but safer is better and it is only temporary. When I put the air dryer on then I will take the one off going to the tank and leave the one on the line out as a backup. The price is not bad so I can recommend this item.

This kit came nicely packaged and well laid out. It had Teflon tape in one of the envelopes and the pressure gauge came in its own box. I got this kit for a new airline install I'm doing in my shop. It will fill the bill very nicely and I'm happy to recommend for any application where you need clean, dry air.

The media could not be loaded. Decent regulator set, medium size, capacity. Dislike rating, the gage is in KPA and bar not PSI. I was able to adapt it to fit on air quick connects. Came with plastic larger diameter quick connect, but did not use it. Came with Teflon tape, used that had no leaks, though I normally use and recommend liquid thread sealers instead. BE good for a smaller portable air compressor.

This exactly what I have been needing. I use my air compressor to dry off my dog after he jumps in the pool as well as blowing off my work bench, etc. It was constantly blowing out rusty water even though I regularly drain the tank after use. I just can't get it all out. I could only imagine what that was doing to the internal components of my impact gun, and other pneumatic tools. This thing works flawlessly and is a very small compact unit so it does not take much space at all! Works exactly as described and I couldn't be happier! I feel much better about air drying my pup now. 5 stars have been earned!
