When I first opened the box the cabinet came in I noticed right away that the corner of the sides was chipped and cracked while assembling it I was able to put the broken section towards the back of the cabinet so you cannot notice it unless you are trying to find it. As I continued assembling the cabinet, one of the magnet door pieces was broken completely, I was able to crazy glue it and add it to the last drawer which I won't be opening as much compared to the above doors. Once the cabinet was assembled, it came out beautiful, the instructions were very easy, all of the pieces came with a few extra, and overall I had an amazing time putting the cabinet together by myself.

Like: on time delivery, easy assembly, as described Dislike: assembly from manufacture is poor! The holes that were assembled by factory wasn’t in the correct spots for me to assemble the pieces which left me to have a shelf vs a cabinet. Which means the shelf was not enclosed where it had no door as it was supposed to! Also, the hardware was broken, and some were stripped of paint!

Despite the reviews, this product is super easy to assemble LOL. All you have to do is take your time and read everything. Also, no matter what you think, your personal power tools aren’t necessary. Only time you’ll need a power tool is to ‘drill’ the magnet plates onto the doors. (Leading to one of my complaints) I’m not sure how the company expects the screws for the magnet plates to go into the screw-holes on the doors, with just the hand tool provided (i.e allen key). The screw-holes are simply too shallow for anyone to do it manually and I was only able to get it done with my power drill. Also, I highly advise customers to be gentle with this product’s pieces because the colored layer of the board(s) chips off very easily. Make sure you have all your parts upon unpacking product and if anything is scratched, chipped, or damaged to just contact the manufacturer and they will help you resolve the issue 🤷🏽♀️. I had one door come in chipped (door 3) and small scratches here and there but nothing enough to bother me. Overall, the product is appealing, great size, SUPER sturdy and worth the price. For $54.00 you get what you pay for!

I got the 3-Drawer first... it was so easy to assemble! And I liked how sleek it was, so I ordered the 4-Drawer! The 4-Drawer came with one of the handles broken. I emailed Hodedah support directly and they sent me a replacement! Got it in 2 days!!! So fast! I love them!! Oh and even though the instructions said it was a 2-person assembly... I was able to do it on my own, with no problems

I will start off by saying that I purchased 2 sizes of this product. The 3 door version same first. It was super easy to put together and it looks great! The 4 door version, which is what this review will focus on, was a different story. I'll break it down into 3 sections for easier processing. As a note, I decided to keep the piece even with all the issues, mainly because I have chronic pain and the thought of disassembling this and dealing with returning or exchanging it makes me want to cry. Issues: - 1 set of the plastic door hinges came broken and unusable. Due to this, one section of the cabinet cannot have a door on it. I choose to leave the door off the top section to make sure the bottom had all the structure support it needed when full. Since it still looks ok without it, I left it off. (6th picture) - 3 door magnets arrived broken with 2 of them being unusable. I ended up using different a magnet that I had on hand to keep the doors locked on the bottom of the piece. Since that section won't be used for more than long term storage, it wasn't super important for it to be able to open and close easily. - The bottom corner of the right wall panel has a chunk missing. Since it didn't affect the structure once assembled, and it's on the bottom hidden section, I just went with it. I will fill it with wood putty eventually. - Most boards arrived with scratches along the edges (see picture 5 for the worst). Fortunately for me, they were on the inside of the doors and on the edge that doesn't face people. Cons: - For the price point of this, I expected better quality for this product. - The multiple broken pieces were highly annoying. - The instructions are poorly written. It was difficult to tell in the pictures which was the front of the board and which was the back. Fortunately, my reasoning deductive skills helped me. - Did I mention the MULTIPLE broken pieces? - The floor protection pieces that are included with the parts are a hard plastic. Once had a slight dent that made it sharp and pointy. I ended up replacing them with felt feet that I keep on hand. - The door handles are a cheap flimsy plastic. They're easy enough to replace by purchasing nicer ones, but for the look it was going for and the price point, inexpensive metal ones or even a better looking plastic would have gone a long way. Pros: Overall, it's an attractive looking piece that is sturdy and can hide away a significant amount of items. It's super easy to assemble. The instruction pages were static clung between 2 pieces of Styrofoam so I didn't find them until almost the final steps. Since I've put enough pieces of furniture together in my lifetime, it was simple enough to figure out how to build without instructions. It ships and arrives quickly with Amazon Prime. Like I said, there were a bunch of issues with this piece, but with other items I had on hand in my house, I was able to fix most of them. I'll keep the ones I have, but I don't see myself buying another one of these products.

This thing is sturdy! I use it in my kitchen to store snacks, coffee, etc. My microwave fits on top of it and it has not fallen. It was so easy to assemble. The 4 cabinets are very spacious. The black looks so sleek. The height of this is about up to my chest *5 ft tall woman* with my microwave on it, the microwave is right at eye level.

It was very easy for one person to put together. One little corner of a magnet was broken and I used gorilla glue to fix it. But I still contacted support for a new one because I don't know if it will last. They are very cooperative and are sending a new part. I bought this because of my cats. (I have 6) They like to get up on my hutch dresser to sleep and the cat tree I had there to help them up was falling apart. I didn't want to spend a lot on a new cat tree because I have several already. I added a pillow to the top of the cabinet for them to sleep on if they want. I added a scratch pad to the side, both with velcro. Now they can easily get on the dresser, onto the cabinet and then the hutch. And I get to use the insides for bath towels, etc. Dual purpose and much cheaper than a cat tree!! If I had room, I'd buy another.
