A little more effort to assemble but we were able to put two together in less than 8 hours. Sturdier than expected. Great storage space and the mahogany finish looks so much more expensive than expected. We will definitely buy again if we need more storage. A very good value for the price.

My Sister and her 11 year old daughter are assembling the product. I bout this for the door aspect for storing non-perishables. (We have a toddler who is "toddler curious". :) We are replacing a larger shelving system that is open and wider. So - for this product a bit disappointed. Perfect condition on arrival. Thicker pieces of ply wood than I thought upon opening the box seeing two thin laminated back pieces. I do not like the unfinished coloring of the ply wood. Though it is out of sight, It would have been nice. My Sister and her daughter completed this in less than an hour. :) That is great. For the price - my only complaints would be: this should be 5 shelves, longer shelves, and height a lot taller. I think a reasonable price for this product would be $50-60. I am very happy with this cabinet. I know some reviews have complained about the size and quality of materials used, but I don't think that's fair. I measured before buying so there was no surprise about the size. It holds a lot. Yes, it's not high end, but you aren't paying high end prices either. I purchased this and being disabled had to hire someone to carry it up to my second floor apartment and assemble it. Once assembled, they showed me all the defects. The wood was peeling and dirty, many of the holes were improperly drilled and it took the professional that I hired over 4 hours to assemble this. I sent an email to customer service with the pictures provided and they kept telling me to send it back. I explained to them that I'm disabled and this thing weighs over 50lbs and is over 5 feet tall and I would have to hire someone to take it out of my apartment and to a shipping center, where I doubt there would be boxes big enough for this. I went back and forth with them 6 times, each time explaining myself over and over again and them continually repeating to return the item. (I did not want a replacement as I didn't trust this company or the quality and didn't want to risk hiring someone to carry it up the stairs AGAIN). Customer service was extremely unhelpful. This is made from the cheapest of cheap materials. you literally touch the edges and the vinyl falls off and the screws are very light and cheaply made. Don't waste your money!!!! ... show more

it is pressboard i know that when i bought it it was easy to put together only thing im not happy with is the screws for the shelves go from the outside into each board so if something is to heavy its going to break the board and it will be junk because you cant replace it plus seeing all the screws isnt as eye appealing plus the directions have to put the doors on with handles before nailing back on so if you lay it face down to tack back on is rocks back and forth on the hands for the price i wasnt expecting it to be perfect but no where in the picture does it show the screws on the outside it is a nice looking cabinet from the front i am handy cap and did put it together by myself but we will see how long this lasts ... show more

The hardest part of building this was trying to slide the doors into the hinges without chipping the color off, and then screwing them in place because there were no pre made holes in the door for screwing in hinges, so either have tools to make pilot holes, or bring someone strong to help. Some parts of the color were already chipped when i got it, but its barely noticable now that its fully together. And without the holes for the hinges, the doors can end up crooked when you finally are able to screw them in. ... show more
