the boots are excellent. warm easy to put on and keep the toes warm. I had an issue with a bump on my ankle I didn't know I had rubbing against a tight section of the boot and it got irritated but that's not the boots fault. I've inserted an insert so my spot doesn't rub any more and it's all good. they are cool looking as well - very arctic explorer meets imperial snow trooper so that's a good thing as well. ... show more

This colder than average winter in the eastern U.S. has been a perfect test for my new Hobibear boots. In addition to their comfort and warmth, I especially like the ease that my feet can slip in and out of them due to the plush lining. So far, when shoveling snow with a wind chill in the teens, my feet are protected and the boots prevent slipping. During a previous severe winter, with my old boots my toes were numb afterwards.
