I'm Stevie, and this is my wife B. We are at our San Diego surf shop, ready to answer any of your questions. It's kind of a Hawaiian slang to say "ho" instead of "hey". So my buddy would always come over to my house and say "Ho Stevie let's go surf!" I got tired of being ignored any time I contacted a big surf brand. So I decided to "be the change you want to see in the world", and built this company, one product at a time. We care the MOST about our customers. I surf with these products every day. I want to bring you the best quality gear, with the best value, and best service. Determine where each surf rack will go on your wall (you can use a level if you have one). Mark each hole (2 holes per rack) with pencil. Pre-drill the 4 holes (pre-drilling is recommended to avoid possibly stripping the screw heads). Put the surfboard racks up to the wall, and tighten the screws. Don't over-tighten the screws, using a screwdriver for the final few turns helps. may break if screwed into a stud or other obstruction behind the wall. Make sure there is nothing behind the drywall. Pre-drill holes into the drywall Screw the drywall anchors in with a Philips head screwdriver, until the anchor is flush with the drywall. Do this for all mounting holes. Put the racks up to the wall, and tighten the screws into the anchors.Don't over-tighten the screws, using a screwdriver for the final few turns helps Test both surfboard racks with gentle pressure, then go ahead and hang your surfboard up for display. Will this wall rack work with any surfboard? Yes, you can display/store any surfboard, shortboard, longboard, fish surfboard, funboard, skimboard, SUP, bodyboard etc. with our wall racks. Can I hang multiple surfboards with it? No! These racks will only hold one board. Do I need tools to install these surfboard mounts on my wall? You only need a drill... everything else is included in the set! It comes with drywall anchors and all the screws to install the rack on your wall. What's the weight limit of the racks? Our surfboard wall racks have a 30lb weight limit if you are using the drywall anchors, but the racks can hold even more weight if you screw them into the studs in your wall. Great value. I’ve been looking for something cheap and easy to get a few boards on the wall and out of the way. This is easier and less expensive than making something from plywood or other rack systems. Total install time probably 10 mins. The Mounts are good and I used wall anchors. It’s holding a 9’6” longboard. 30 lb max weight might be generous as the brackets do flex a bit with this ~15lb board so I prob won’t be putting a big cruising SUP on here but for the money and effort you can’t beat it. This is a great no frills, modern, minimalist, surf board mount. Another great product from Ho Stevie at a great price point. Arrived in perfect condition - i was worried the black paint would be chipped, it wasnt. Once you make sure to properly measure and plan, the process is a breeze. The mounting holes are in a tight spot, but with the proper tool, a manual screwdriver, it goes up in a few minutes. I used the included hardware and didn't have any issues. I have a small longboard. My process was to first determine where I wanted the board to rest on the mounts, and note the position and distance between the two. Once I had that I measured the distance from the stringer to the edge of the board. The difference between the two measurements will tell you the offset needed between the two mounts. Without this, an egg shaped board will hang crooked. So if at the nose it's 8in to the stringer, and 6in at the tail, you now know in order to hang straight, the mounts must be 2 inches apart, ie hang one at 58 from the floor, the next 60 inches from the floor. You now have the calculation of the height of the two mounts. To center over an object, determine what the difference in length is between the board and the object you're centering it over. Then, divide that by two. That is the amount of space the board will overhang over an object, on each side. You now know where the board will sit, leaving you to now determine how far the mounts need to be from the edges of the board. Then measure the distance from the nose and tail to the two mounts. That measurement will tell you how far in from the overhang (board nose/tail edge) you will need place the mount. You now have the left-right measurement calculated, and are ready to begin mounting the hardware. There aren't any instructions included, due to the many shapes of the board, but they have a YouTube video, and are great about answering questions. I overall really like the brackets. I used them to hang an “art surfboard“. My two comments are that while I think I understand the idea behind the width of the part that the board sits on, it does seem a little too wide. Also, while two sides of the bracket are nicely padded, I really think all three sides should be padded. The only other thing is if you are hanging something like a surfboard, you really need at least three brackets. Two at the bottom for the item to sit on and one at the top to keep it from tumbling over if somehow the house is shaken. Such as where I live in California! So I bought two packages and now I have a leftover bracket that will just go in the pile of other miscellaneous things that I don’t know what to do with but I am resistant to throwing away! But overall I really like them a lot. A little expensive I think, but very well-made. Apologies to the manufacturer if I sound like I’m complaining because I’m not! ... show more

Good product. The screws are decent but if you hammer the drywall ones in and then screw them with an electric screw driver then it works perfectly. The padding is good for the rails and it looks awesome on my 6'2 mayhem. Love them. I wouldn't recommend them for someone using a board under 5 foot because you would have to put the racks very close together but overall awesome product will buy gain if needed. ... show more

The racks were easy to install and have plenty of room to set my husband's longboard on. The material won't damage the board where it sits on the racks. I painted the racks silver just to go better with the curtain rod. He loves that old board and I feel confident the racks are sturdy and will keep the board safe.
