It has a fun cartoon design which my kids love, it's well-made and sturdy, and it rotates so that books can easily be accessed. Plus, it's easy to assemble with the included tools so I was able to set it up quickly and without any problems. The color is bright and cheerful and I think it really adds to the look of the room. We've been using it for a few months now and it's still in great condition because the quality is so high. The rotating feature is great for my kids since they can spin the shelf to get their favorite books quickly and easily. It's plenty wide enough to fit all their books and toys, so it covers all our needs in one piece of furniture. Cleanup time is super easy too, as I just have to rotate it to the area I need to access, and it's less messy than with a regular shelf. The media could not be loaded. I love this bookcase... it can double as a "dollhouse" too. Actually, you can even use it as a storage space --- I'm currently using it for a few books, but once my daughter's room is set up, I think I might use it as a diaper storage, or maybe for her clothes or blankets... haven't decided yet, but it's very versatile. Assembly was super easy. The pieces snap into each other... FYI, make sure all of the pieces are completely in before you start screwing in the screws. I unfortunately made an error with one piece where it wasn't in completely, but had already installed the screw before I realized it --- thankfully it's not an noticeable error though. ... show more

super cute and holding up well so far. but a VERY strange material, sort of like foam-core poster board, very lightweight and will probably get squashed if someone runs into it or is too rough with it. I am not a handy person at all, I’ve never built anything, yet this was so easy to put together. I simply followed the pictures on the instructions. It came with all the screws and a screwdriver so you don’t need any other tool. I would recommend this to someone who wants a cute design for their nursery or playroom. One piece was damaged but still functional, we ended up turning the piece around so the damage was on the inside and less noticeable.
