I have 8 ft sliders that are over 20 yrs old and are quite cold in winter and I wanted to help keep in the warmth with nice looking, heavier weight curtains without breaking the bank. Besides Amazon, I tried a multitude of other stores looking for a 2 layer curtain like these. Two layers do a better job of keeping in heat, they hang nicer than single layer, and they are far more durable than those with the rubber backing which eventually dries out, yellows and looks awful as it ages. These are quite heavy curtains, and they are well made and exactly what I wanted and you couldn't beat the price. Yes, I could have found two layers at a specialty store, but the price was going to be at minimum twice as much as these which I can't afford. The color is not exactly what I wanted, but the color I wanted has been out of stock for quite so time, so I just gave in. For a comparison and in hopes of finding other curtains that might do the job with the color I wanted, I did order at least 3 other pairs of curtains (single layer), but none had the feel or quality of these. I'm sticking with this manufacturer - these are good curtains for the money.

This is another pair for my atrium dooe in my dining room need a longer than 84 inch which they had. So just as nice as the first two sets I had haven't washed, however did Iron as they need to press the lines out . So used a steamer. Happy with them. Not so happy with I returned one of pairs I purchased earlier as I did not need three pairs. Credit was okayed but then it appears the didn't rec. them and due to the time lapse of credit to not approving it was 6 weeks. It was during Christmas. However I had just thrown out the receipt from UPS for the sending of them back. So I lost there.. So just beware of that.. KEEP your slip for a case like this , there was no way to track it seeing I did not have the slip. Similiar to what happened on delivery of these UPS dropped them at my PO when it had my house number on the delivery. I had to chase them down from one post office to another.

These liners work great. Great insulators. The have a nice feel to them. They aren’t stiff. They are pliable and easy to work with. I have them behind the curtain on my sliding door. They fall right in with the flow of the curtain. When it’s really hot outside and I keep these closed there is a noticeable difference in the temperature of the room. So much cooler. My air conditioner doesn’t come on as much. I really, really like these liners. Also, fold marks fell out beautifully-by themselves-after hanging.

I needed the thickest blackout curtains with white backing to keep the heat out. I bought several different options and these are the thickest ones, I promise you! While the others are indeed blackout in terms of keeping light out, and I’m sure they keep lots of heat out relative to no curtains, blinds only, or normal thin curtains, these are the most energy efficient I’m sure. My pics don’t do them justice. They feel thick and heavy. I can’t imagine why you’d want black backing, black will absorb heat, not reflect it away….plus it looks so ugly, Yuck! (Sorry, it’s really hot today and there’s no AC!). I highly recommend these. I bought the blue color as you can see, it’s a neutral blue-green grey, very pretty.
