One feature that really impressed me is that the switches are on the power plug for your (cigarette lighter) DC power source. You can operate the switches by feel without having to look for them. I ordered these to use in case of a road emergency, so I can signal drivers behind me that 'something is amiss' You should check with your local laws to ensure it is legal to operate flashing lights on a non emergency vehicle while driving. At a minimum, I can't see this being a problem if you are stopped or on the side of the road. The product appears to be well made with a good weight to it. Assembly and mounting is simple. The power cord is 16 feet long, so long enough to plug in, and route behind my trim so I don't have wires all over the place.

The first thing that I found with these that I am waiting to see how good they hold.. The suctions cups that hold the lights in place.. I have a small 4k dash cam in my car, and it is held in place by a suction cup too.. But after some time, temperature changes, etc, it has fallen off many times.. I have tried it straight onto the window, and also placed on the little plastic film piece that they suggest you use attach to the window first.. This does not come with that plastic film.. You get 4 suction cups for each side / light bar.. That is plenty strong enough to hold it in place, so no complaints here.. I am just waiting to see if they will come loose over time, just like my dash cam does.. One thing I really liked is the cigarette lighter plug on it.. It goes in a bit tighter than the other stuff that I have that goes into that socket, but at the same time, it holds great and does not easily come loose like some of my other stuff does.. This is especially important when you consider that the on / off switch, and the switch to switch between designs as to how they blink are both on the end of the piece.. So you do not have to worry about it coming loose if a cord gets bumped, you hit a bump in the road, etc.. very nice here.. They are plenty bright.. No complaints with that either.. Only time will tell how well the LED's hold up over time.. But on a positive note, if it does break, it is not that expensive, and with no hard wiring, or mounting needed, at least if you decide to change them to something else, or decide to put them in a different vehicle, there is no lasting damage..

Pros: * Heavy duty - While I would expect most to mount these inside * Extra parts - 2 extra screws and suction cups if you have an issue with any of the * Include adhesive pads - for a more permanent installation Cons: * Not ideal for windshield mount - Windshield mount you would want something to block the reflection off the windshield so its not blinding you * Not expandable - If you want to run a set up front and a set in the rear you'll need two cigaret outlets to plug into and have to operate them separately * No pattern indicator - 26 patterns, but there is no way to tell which pattern you are on unless you're watching the lights * One button to change patterns - If you're looking for a specific pattern you could be clicking up to 25 times to find the pattern you intend Conclusion: These are decent, but I wouldn't want to use these on a daily basis in an emergency service scenario. The lights are definitely bright enough, and I would trust the installation, but not being able to hook up multiple sets to one control seems like a deal breaker, especially if you need multiple power supplies in the form of a cigaret outlet and don't have a way to determine which pattern is showing on which set.

The media could not be loaded. These smaller white/Amber emergency lights work just fine on your windshield with suction cups & connect to your 12V cigarette lighter socket. The light is still bright even tho they are smaller but there are bigger ones, more expensive that are available.

These are nice amber strobes. I would rate the brightness a 7/10. The will work fine as long as your wi dows are not tinted. They have many different flash modes and cycling through them is a breeze. Like many things the suction cups are ok, I always put a drop of silicone sealant in the cups so they stay in place. I have no need to remove them on a continuous basis. If you are handy you can remove the cigarette plug and hardware it into you DC system. Overall good low cost LED strobes.
