The helmet is really good quality, but runs very small. I wear a medium size helmet, so based on reviews of it running small I ordered a large. I was sent an XL, but it turned out the XL fit me perfect. The helmet causes pressure on the sides of my head while wearing my Oakley’s. Overall I’m very pleased with the helmet. I’m planning on getting a modular as well. Check out the hjc i90. Tried one on at a bike shop and the L fit me perfectly. I guess each style fits differently. ... show more

    • High quality, open face helmet, but problematic fit for tall heads.
Open face helmet, with high end 'feel', and hidden pull down visor. The HJC brand offers great quality and looks, at a low price. I love the pull down visor feature, but it also affects the fit. Because the visor needs an area to slide up into, the interior top of the helmet has 'lower' clearance. Basically, that upper part of the helmet hits the top of my head. I exchanged this helmet for a different HJC brand helmet in the same size. The new half helmet does not have the pull down visor, but also does not hit the top of my head. ... show more

    • face shield goes over my glasses, good visor, good product.
I was looking for pull-down shield that would not interfere with my glasses, and this works great. Very pleased. Went online to find out how to replace face shield and order couple of spares, and surprised at the cost of these, but I would order this part again even so.

This hjc cruiser helmet has been great these past weeks I had got a half helmet before this one I got it in a large cause that's what the size chart said it was a German company I can't remember the name it was a hundred bucks I sent it back to Amazon with in first hour I had it the helmet was just to tight then this hjc cruiser caught my eye it was only 20 bucks more so I went with it an it had mixed reviews on Amazon now that I own it the more you wear it it breaks in more the sun shade does hit your prescription glasses but I push mine back an then it goes over then you half to do it before taking off you definitely couldn't do it going down the road that's if you're glasses are getting hit by the sun shade. But I like the quality. But I will also find the company name on the German helmet an give a review on it ... show more

It's a great helmet! The size chart is pretty right on! No complaints, it protects my head.. The lil inside visor is easy to use and has 3 different places it can be put! The last one come down over my nose so no air or debris gets in! I would recommend!

    • Pinches top of my ears a little
HJC is good gear. I have their modular unit and am very happy with it, but it is hot to wear in central Florida in the summer, especially for just buzzing around running errands. This is much lighter and the shield is a great help when running into the sun. My only problem with it is the ear pockets are not quite big enough. It tends to pinch the top of my ears, which is bothersome. I don't know how it would feel after a long ride as I just use it for half hour or maybe an hour. ... show more
