Update 2024: Almost a year later and 4,000 miles on helmet I have to give it 5 stars. Helmet is holding up very well to my daily use. I really enjoy wearing this comfortable helmet. It is easy to get on and off. The sun visor, dual air vents and modular release are easy to operate. I did remove the big HJC sticker on front of helmet with a heat gun, looks a lot cleaner now. Have now added some pictures. Again I highly recommend. 2023: Just bought this great helmet with a great price. Fit is perfect and has air inlets and outlets. Not too heavy. The drop down sun visor works great for sunny rides. Most importantly, I am enjoying the modular function on this helmet as I don't have to take my helmet off to do simple tasks while not riding. Not true to size IMO, runs small. I have owned a couple of Shoei helmets, currently own two Bell helmets and have had a couple others along the way. I always wear a medium. My most recent purchase prior to this HJC was a Bell adventure helmet. According to the Bell size chart I am at the cusp of medium / large. I chose a medium, it was a bit snug but padding broke in and it is perfect now. On the HJC I ordered a medium, it was way too tight. I could get it on but was very uncomfortable. No worries, just returned and got a large, problem solved. Nope, the large was a bit too tight as well. So tight I did not feel it would be comfortable after break-in. So I ended up getting a XL. Seems good, still feels like it will be a bit better once padding breaks in. ... show more

I bought an HJC helmet ten years ago that I loved. It was a medium and it fit perfect. I bought a medium again and couldn’t get my head inside of it. Sent it back and bought an XL… perfect fit. I have one of these so I bought this one for my nephew. My favorite helmet thus far. He usually uses a large but this one is xlarge because of the snug fit.

Bought this for my wife to match my HJC helmet. Just go back from a 4 day road trip and she was very happy with it. She loved the flexibility of the modular face, as well as the full protection. We had a day where we hit elevations above 11,000 feet, rode through rain over Vail Pass, then dropped into a valley that was 94 degrees. Two days later we started the morning at 36 degrees, and were in 92 degree heat within 3 hours. Never got to hot, and never felt cold. To be fair, I had to return this helmet. It was extremely nice but the sizing was smaller than the last five HJC helmets I’ve had for some reason.
