I recently went on a 1000 mile roadtrip on my bike. The noise was near unbearable. Once I returned home I immediately researched helmets. I just went on a short ride today to test this helmet. Oh my, this is a game changer! I wear a small size helmet. This manufacturer makes different shell sizes so that my small is smaller than other sizes. I’m happy to have a helmet that is a little more size proportional. The main flip up face shield is easy to handle. The sun visor flips down with a flick of a switch on top the helmet. I thought that was weird until I used it. I really like how easy it is to just reach up and flip the switch as opposed to feeling all around the front of the helmet in an attempt to find the lever. Then there’s the clear face shield. Really fantastic quality. You can raise it at a handful of positions. The clear visor will stay in place even if you lift the man face shield. The fit of the helmet is perfect. My old helmet hurt my ears. Not this helmet! Such a comfortable fit. I believe you can also used a communication system with built in connectivity. Finally, the price was very reasonable for this feature rich helmet. I’m sure you can guess I highly recommend this helmet.

Update 2024: Almost a year later and 4,000 miles on helmet I have to give it 5 stars. Helmet is holding up very well to my daily use. I really enjoy wearing this comfortable helmet. It is easy to get on and off. The sun visor, dual air vents and modular release are easy to operate. I did remove the big HJC sticker on front of helmet with a heat gun, looks a lot cleaner now. Have now added some pictures. Again I highly recommend. 2023: Just bought this great helmet with a great price. Fit is perfect and has air inlets and outlets. Not too heavy. The drop down sun visor works great for sunny rides. Most importantly, I am enjoying the modular function on this helmet as I don't have to take my helmet off to do simple tasks while not riding. I highly recommend this helmet. Hope this review helps you.

Nice helmet for the money. Modular with a clear visor and a flip-down, tinted visor on the inside. Comfortable too. I normally wear an XL helmet, I originally ordered an XXL and it was too small. I returned that one and got an XXL and it fits good. The sizing chart on HJC website doesn’t match the helmet size you end up getting. I would recommend you order at least one size and maybe two sizes larger than what the chart says.

They definitely run small to specified size so be sure and order up in size normally worn. Otherwise, it is a very good quality helmet. Built in sun visor is nice. Seller was extremely quick in processing the order. Arrived four days ahead of projection.

Helmet 1-2 sizes smaller than the sizing chart, even going 1 size larger than chart the Helmet is tight. After wearing it a couple times it seems to be breaking in and getting more comfortable. Have been riding in 95° heat and I haven't had any overhearing (head)

HJC makes helmets that are good value for the money. I have used them for years finding them very satisfactory and am sorry to find that this helmet and my head are not a good fit. It seems to be well built and the lever for the sunshade works easily while the visor has definite stops that allow keeping it just open even at speed. However, after only half an hour’s riding the helmet causes pain to my forehead. I had hoped the wearing would allow it to break in but no luck. This experience has brought me to conclude that I should shop for helmets where I can try them on for fit. As can be seen by other reviews, this helmet fits many riders very satisfactorily. I am sorry I am not one of them.

I have a huge head, let's just start there. This is the third helmet in successive sizes that I've ordered and I finally hit the jackpot. The modular design makes it easier to don the helmet, glasses and all and then close the front latch. making it a much more enjoyable experience than the full face helmets I've worn before. The padding is excellent and I'm loving the clear front visor with drop-down internal smoked lens. I did end up adding an aftermarket quick release chin strap buckle, because who actually likes d-rings?! Overall, I'm loving the feel and design of this helmet!

I ordered one to true size, I even contacted the seller to make sure I ordered the correct size. I really needed a new helmet, and was excited to get this one. It's so small, I can't get it on my head! My older hjc helmet is a xl and fits perfect. Amazon couldn't exchange it for a different size, I have to return it then reorder a different size. What an inconvenience! Others have said to order the next size up, and they are correct. What a huge inconvenience
